And for pointing out the other possible pitfalls, Jamesmom. (At this point, I'm not really concerned about the internet access. She has a laptop now and has shown no interest in some of the things other teens might experiment with on the internet, she's still a "young" 13. I hesitate to use the word immature, maybe late bloomer would be appropriate. Whatever, I'll take it. Makes my life as a mother much easier.

I'm going to give it a few weeks and see if she keeps talking about this and pricing them online (yeah, she was doing that). If the fascination holds, I'll probably let her buy it with her birthday money.
