Ipod Touch help - Syncing apps

Hi. My dd has an ipod touch, but I can't get it to sync any of the apps that she or I have purchased on itunes. I bought a few and have them on my iphone, but she can't get any of these (or the one she just purchased herself) to sync. When we go to drag it to her ipod, it just shows a circle with a line through it. Any ideas? Thanks!

When you hook her iPod up to the computer and have iTunes open click on her iPod on the left hand side. This should bring up her settings on the main screen. Go to the applications tab and make sure it is set to sync apps.

We just did this and there is no apps (or games) tab up at the top. Any more ideas? I really hate to have to go to the Apple store, but we might have to. thanks!

I am not sure about the syncing, I have a touch and my apps aren't synced with itunes. but as for sharing the apps you buy, as long as you are both on the same itunes account, if you go to "buy" one she already bought, it will start to download, then tell you it was already purchased and it will not charge you. My touch has inexplicably deleted most of my apps in the past, and I had to "rebuy" them this way. Hope this helps.
