Pardon me if this is a dupilicate thread, but my parents want to know what I would like more for Christmas. Now, I know that with an Ipod you have to pay a dollar a song, and as much music as I listen to and as many songs I would want to buy, that could get a bit pricey. With an MP3 player, I hear you can get this thing called "Napster" and pay like 10 dollars a month and get however many songs you want. So what would you guys recommend?

You can use napter to download to an ipod. Ipod comes with itunes which is .99 a song and about $9.99 an album. However, you also load songs onto either mp3 or ipod from your own cds. Go online and research the different players and their warrantys, what they can do and compare. Then when you tell your parents which one you want you can back up your choice with facts about why that one is the best choice.

I dunno, I thought you had to buy one. Didn't know you could download it. :confused3 :rotfl2:

You mean you can use napster to download onto an ipod.

See, i have an MP3 player but it is hard to figure out the first time u have it hey I still dunnno?!? :confused3 :bitelip:

mp3 player all the way. Just get a p2p program like Morpheus or Limewire and get all your songs for free. I can get new songs everyday and I hooked my mp3 player up in my car so that I don't have to keep CD's in it.

Don't use Limewire it's full of spyware now. I use torrents and just download full albums for my iPod. :cool1:
