iPod Nano - First time owner

My DH bought me an iPod Nano for my birthday, but I don't know how to use it. I have it charged and have a $25 iTunes card. How do I download music to my iPod?
Any help would appreciated!

When you plug your iPod into your computer iTunes should pop up. One of the options on iTunes screen is "shop" (or store... can't remember). Click on that. On the left side of the screen is an option for prepaid cards. Click that. Put in the code on the back of your iTunes card, and start shopping! It's very easy.... and mighty addicting! You can load all your cd's on it, too. I never thought I would enjoy this silly little thing as much as I do. Have fun!

Just a note from someone who learned how to use hers the hard way lol: you actually click and drag the songs listed on your download play list to your nano unless you want to have the nano updated automatically everytime. Also if you ever decide to delete something just highlight the song on your nano playlist and hit the delete button. Those two little important things aren't listed anywhere on the ipod info sheet lol. Have fun. I love mine though I still don't know how to use most of it

lol, I had to learn that as well! I have the video ipod, but haven't used it for videos yet. Still downloading all the music I want

Most of your questions have been answered above so I will add a suggestion........get a case for it, if you don't want to splurge for the apple ones, go to Penneys they have a leather case made by Rolfs that it slides into, it also has a belt clip on it and a clip. Nanos are so small that they could easily be lost and if you have the black one they scratch very easily.......have fun with it, I couldn't live without mine or my mini!

I have found ilounge.com to have a wealth of information about all things iPod. If I can't figure something out about my mini, I search that website until I find it. They have a forum like DIS
