DD#1's best friend got an Ipod for Christmas. Their brand new computer had to go back to the factory, so DD told her she could come over here and load up her music on one of our desktops. Problem is, it won't "update". It says "do not disconnect", but when you go to the file menu "update Ipod" is not an option to click on--it's not highlighted.
I have an Ipod mini. I do NOT have a high-speed USB, but mine works without it. This is a regular Ipod w/ video and color. Do they HAVE to have the high-speed USB? Or is there something else to try?
BTW somehow DD#1 loaded up her Ipod Nano without the high-speed, but last night it wouldn't update either.
