Ok I am nuts but I almost put You Rock My World to my DH. lol I know you are wanting something for your DD though. I just liked that my saying said something about music.

DS15 is getting an upgrade from a shuffle to the latest nano. We put his name on the first line and ROCK ON D-DAWG! which is just what he'll be doing. And D-Dawg came from little brother years ago.

We just got one for our dd11's Jan. b-day, and we put something to the effect of, "This is Keara's ipod. Happy Birthday" and the date of her birthday. Well, yesterday she tells me that the only thing she really wants for Christmas is an ipod... OOPS! Guess she'll be a little disappointed at Christmas--but her b-day will make up for it!!

Now that she has an Ipod Video DD10 has her old one so I wish I hadn't had it engraved.

On DH's original Ipod I had engraved:

He left that one on a plane and we never did get it back. I guess I had hoped that if someone found it they would attempt to get it back to a soldier.

I engraved "Hands off! I belong to DD's name" It's a green Ipod nano. She would die if I had mom & dad or Santa put on it. She's 12, and going through that "I'm too cool stage" . So I played it safe.

My husband's video iPod was "purchased" using TiVo rewards referral points. We came up with this inscription: "Why iPod? The TiVo won't fit in my pocket." It also has a TiVo logo on the back of it.
