iPod App Question

On the iPod touch, my DS and DD app for Facetime are frozen. Any idea's.
I know this is not really "budget" related, but you disers know everything!!

Try doing a goggle search. I found a lot of sites that explain it.

I'm new to the touch as well, but this is what I would try...

Power off / power on (Press and HOLD the power button to get them to actually power off, not hibernate.)
Synch them both

I don't know if that will help or not, but it seemed to do the trick for ours when it was stuck for HOURS installing cut the rope...

Sometimes when an app freezes I just take it off my touch and then sync it back on again...works like a charm

You really don't want to fix it! My hubby offered to buy me a new iPod for our Anniversary in Jan and I told him no thanks. My kids have driven me nuts using Facetime with each other. They will be in the same room with each other and still use it to talk to each other.

Same here - I've been shutting down completely, cleaning off the screen, and then powering back on. For my DD8 (I can't believe we got her one of these things...I don't even have one!), it's Angry Birds that keeps freezing!

This is not the same issue, I'd guess, but if anyone can't get into facetime at all check your ipod date settings. My son's facetime wouldn't let you log in at all. It just kept returning to the login screen after you put in the id and password.

googled to (eventually) find out that the date has to be correct or it won't work. His was set to one day behind for some reason!

I'm having trouble with facetime on my kids' ipod touches also. I expected there to be some sort of set up that we go through to get it working. My kids went into it first though so I don't know if that messed it up. And everytime I try to add a different email address it says it can't verify it
