Ok, I had all of my music on my old laptop and it was all on my ipod. Well I had to get a new laptop and so I only have some of my music on this computer. All of my music on my ipod still because I haven't updated it yet for this computer...I don't want to lose all of that music. Is there anyway I can add more music that I've bought recently and still keep all the music on my ipod? TIA!

Ah, the same thing happened to me after Christmas.

I used a flash drive to transfer my iTunes library from my old computer to my new one. It takes a while, and you'll need a large flash drive, but it's the simplest way to recreate your library and add new songs without losing old ones.

Thanks but the problem with the old laptop is the screen went out so I can't get onto it.

There is a way to sync computers with itunes, im not exactly sure what you do but maybe give this a try...

Go to the store tab on the top of itunes
Than click authorize computer (have to put in your Apple ID and password)
Than i think if you just plug in your ipod to the computer, it should just automatically download everything...

I would check with someone else before doing this, but im pretty sure its the way to do it

hope it helps

ive had this happen alot, due to crash of hard drives :sad1:

i just had to get them all over again

you might want to put some on a cd in case this happens again
