I am having some problems with my IPhone. When I synced it a couple of days ago, I noticed that it was showing my memory was almost full, so I looked at what was on it. It is showing that my music is taking up a very large amount of memory. I haven't added anything to it lately. It hadn't been showing that amount for the music before. I have it set to only add the music that is checked. I had recently updated my iTunes so I didn't know if this had anything to do with it or not. I noticed a few songs that I didn't need, so I unchecked them & ran a sync, but they were still on it. I tried just deleting them from my music list when the phone was connected, but it wouldn't let me. Any suggestions?

On your iPhone go to settings, general, about and look there on how much space is available how many songs, videos ect. On on your iphone
Check and make sure all of your songs are in mp3 or mpeg4 format and not in wav.
If I have an wav. 1hr and 30min Interview on my iPod it takes up around 700mb but if it's mp3 it takes up only around 80mb

There is also an option that tells itunes to fill available space with your remaining unchecked songs. Make sure that is turned off.

When I turned off the fill space with songs, it took off all of my songs. I will look at all of the settings again. It wasn't doing this until I downloaded the last version of Itunes:confused3
