I would like to download an app for my iPhone/iPad to browse the DisBoards while on the move. I see several on the iTunes store and would love to here from those who use this type of app and their recommendations.

Michael

I am going to move this to the Podcast Board. Hopefully someone there can help you. :)

I use eTicket. It is a great way to access the DISboards on an iphone.

You can use the 2* option on the iPad or Safari :goodvibes

What does eTicket do that plain old Safari doesn't?

Sayhello

Is e-ticket still working? I finally just got a mess of iGadgets last month and I was thinking about buying e-ticket. There hasn't been any discussion of it lately, and there seem to be a lot of comments on iTunes and the Sticky that there haven't been recent updates. Any thoughts? Are people still using it?

I was wondering about this as well.
I'll finally be joining the iphone club next month when the iphone comes to Verizon  and I was thinking of buying the eticket app for my new phone.
I don't want to buy an app that's been abandoned

I have never had issues with the ap, its always worked for me :confused3 I use it quite often, a few times a day, to access the Dis.

On our recent trip, I used the eTicket app in just about every queue. I was on the iPad and my DD8 was on the iPhone the lines weren't even a bother to us. There were a few places where we didn't have great service but for the most part AT&T did well.

This just makes me jealous :thumbsup2 The data charges for those of us on UK contracts would make this far too expensive.
I would love to have real iPhone access rather than stumble upon the infrequent open wi-fi connections at WDW.

So far my investigations about having a payg sim in an unlocked iPhone has shown that while there is a lot of interest, very little in the way of a simple solution . I think I need to persue a business opportunity;)

Thanks for asking this question, I was coming to the boards to ask exactly the same question. Opening the Disboard in Safari on my ipad I get a huge list of all the Dis Site Updates.

I am not sure I want to purchase an app (that costs more $ in Aus), and as previous poster as mentioned, it is difficult to get an iphone connection for the two weeks of holiday time in the USA.

Thanks everyone for the replies. looks like eTicket is the one for me then.

A couple more "must haves" for WDW travel

OLP Transportation Wizard - How to get everywhere you'd want to go at WDW
Lines - A little chat and lots of wait times
WDW Dining - Every WDW menu with prices

I agree, I've been looking into pay as you go just to get access at WDW and it isn't so simple without paying a lot of money for a new phone.
