iPhone 6?

Has anyone heard any updates on delivery dates, particularly on the 6+? I
"pre-ordered" through Verizon on Sept 12, but it doesn't seem to have made any difference. Delivery date went from Sept 19, to "early Oct" to now "around Oct 24".

I walked into an AT&T store last Sunday and got one. It's a 6 with 64gb, gold. Love it!

From what I've heard, the gray is the hardest to get, looking at a 21 to 35 day wait if ordered. I wanted to buy at a store so that they could transfer my contacts and do all the setup for me.
