iPhone 6 or 6 plus

Decisions, decisions, decisions. trying to make a decision on the new iPhones and I need your help. I am a RN who uses her phone to look up medical info. I cant decide between the 6 and 6 plus. I like the idea of the 6 plus but not sure I would like to carry it for 2 years or longer. I welcome your thoughts on either phone pros and cons!

I would go to a store and look at them. I found the + to be too big for everyday use. I'm comfortable with the 6.

This was exactly my decision one week ago! I went with the 6 instead of the plus for a couple reasons. One, they did not have any pluses! And two, it does not fit well in my back pocket. I don't carry my phone there all the time, but sometimes it is nice just to pop it in my pocket and walk outside if running to get the mail or to the neighbors.

Now that I have used for a week, I am really glad I went with the 6.

Agree the plus is too big for me so I got the 6 (love it) my husband and son are getting the Plus if they ever become available. I second what the pp said. Go check them out and se what feels COMFORTABLE for you.

I want to upgrade soon and I considered the 6+. I went to Best Buy and held it. I have enormous hands for a woman and it was very hard to hold and use for me. I thought I could use the 6+ for reading too (with the Kindle app) but it's too big for an everyday phone for me.

I am getting the 6 for the same reasons. I want it to fit in my pocket. Just received word it was shipped Friday, so I am excited for a new phone!

I was undecided which I wanted. I went to the store and put the 6 on top of the 6 plus and it was ~1/2 inch longer and ~1/2 inch wider than the 6. I got the plus.

BTW I now have the plus and I could not be happier. I setup the plus and then went to call and do the cut-over. When I picked up my old phone I was, "look how small!!!".

I would say I have average hands for a woman and I sometimes still struggle to do things one handed with my 6, like reach the top of the screen with my thumb, (I keep forgetting about the reach ability feature), taking a photo and holding it in my hand to look at my list while shopping. Also, I carry mine in my front pocket, some jeans it's no problem but others the pocket is a little shallow so while I can get it in there it sits diagonal and I'm not confident it won't slip out. I find that I take it out of my pocket when I sit much more often than I did with the five. (and I do not wear tight jeans at all) I never could have gone with the 6+, it would not have been "comfortable" for me at all if that makes sense.

That said I wouldn't trade my six back for the five for anything. Love the bigger, brighter screen and with zoom mode on it's awesome for my sometimes struggling eyesight. I pick up my DH or DD's fives and feel like I'm squinting at the screen.

I agree with others, go look at them and play with them. Stick them in your pocket if you can and don't forget to keep in mind the kind of case you'll put on it as that will a little bulk and weight to it.

I have small hands (child size really) and I can reach all the keys on the 6+ keyboard with one hand, however the height of the screen requires me to do some things with both hands.

I like that I can type without using the screen in landscape mode. I see of the message and not just the keyboard.

My Costco has the 16gb 6 for $177 I think, and that comes with a car charger.
I'm sure selection will vary by store.

My husband and I just recently upgraded from the 4 to the 6 plus. I have no problem holding the 6 plus and it fits in my back pocket. My husband is also in the medical field and loves having the 6 plus. He does his work on his phone instead of a laptop or ipad. Plus since we do not have data on the ipad, he can do his work anywhere with the phone and it is better for him to read what he needs to.

When we looked at both models we didn't feel the 6 was much different than the 4 as far as size, so we went bigger.

Did you know if you double click the home button it makes the screen smaller to use?

Bought a silver 64gb iphone 6 plus on October 7 and I'm still waiting for it to ship. I feel like it will never get here.
