Iphone 4S Video Upload Questions

I am new to the iphone world. Just recently got the 4S. We're getting ready to go to DLR next month and I'm wondering a couple things.

How much video will I be able to capture before it fills up my memory? I'm wondering if I will need to upload it to a computer or is there a way to do upload it from the phone to Smugmug or something? Will it still be the same quality? I'd hate to erase it to make more room and end up with it not uploading or something. Does that make sense?

I'm just wondering if I will need to go back to the hotel or something to upload it. Thanks!

Also, does anyone know if you can connect the iphone to a Western Digital My Passport and transfer videos that way?

How much you will be able to record will depend on how much storage space your phone has. Really hard to say for certain. Just be careful if your phone is essential because recording a ton will drain your battery fast.

As far as unloading videos, your best bet is to go back and sync your phone to your computer then upload them. Not sure if Smug Mug will allow you to upload a large video file or not. I know with Facebook they compress your video and they never look as good when you upload through the app on the iphone.

Trying to upload anything on Disney property has been such a chore for me the last few trips. Just last weekend at CBR I had difficulty uploading just pictures using their wifi so you can imagine the struggle trying to upload a video may be.

Nope. You'll have to sync with your computer, unloading to a hard drive wont work.

Okay, so I heard I could use iCloud or Dropbox would be a good option. Has anyone used these? Someone told me they would not change the quality of the video?
