It is budget related because I just found out I can sell my iPhone 3Gs for $300+ on ebay and I would only have to spend $200 for the new iPhone 4. So, with that being said- if you have the iPhone 4 are you glad you purchased it and have you had any problems with it?

thanks in advance!

I just found out I can sell my iPhone 3Gs for $300+ on ebay and I would only have to spend $200 for the new iPhone 4.

You can get a new 16GB iPhone 4 for $199 if you are eligible to upgrade your phone. If not, the cost of the phone will be $599.00.

I have an iPhone 4 and am happy with it. You do need a cover to solve the antenna problem. Apple was giving you a choice of free covers, but this program is ending September 30.

I would buy my phone again, but not if I wasn't eligible for a reduced upgrade price.

I owned the original iphone, upgraded to 3g when it became available but held off on the 3gs because I wasn't up for an upgrade at that time.

I am amazed every time I upgrade how many advances are made, the iphone 4 is no exception. It is much faster, the screen images are so crisp and the camera is a HUGE improvement. That said, if you are eligible for an upgrade, I say go for. If not, wait it out. The 3gs is still a great phone.

I sold my Iphone 3G to Radio shack for $110 and got the Iphone 4 32g for $180. LOVE my Iphone 4 but having some signal issues the last couple days

Same here - we sold our iPhone 3Gs (that's 3G plural not 3Gs) to Gazelle for just over $200 for both, which offset the cost of our new iPhone 4s - but we were eligible for the upgrade price for our new ones.

I think the new phones are a great improvement except for the "calling" part -LOL. I don't see much difference in the reception - whether it's related to the antenna issue or not (we have covers) or just in general the signal isn't that strong where I live. But everything else about it is a great upgrade. We don't actually use our iPhones as phones that heavily, more as iPods/Internet browsers/game players/cameras/etc. so the phone reception is not a huge deal to me - to others it might be.

It still has better reception than our previous Verizon phones, where I live.

I love mine, and I do not have any reception/antenna problems. I switched from a BlackBerry and I would never, ever go back!

I have an iphone 4 with an Otterbox case and I LOVE both of them. I have had no problems and I have owned both since the July.

My friend just sold her 3gs for 300 on Ebay also! I have an I 4 and love it. it did a drop call issue but I haven't had one since I got a case...
