DD24 wants an iPad to use Procreate drawing app. We are looking to get it for Christmas. I've found that the newest iPad Air is pretty good, but the cheapest model has only 64GB. Maybe that's sufficient? We can get a 256GB model, but the price of that is only $20 less than an iPad Pro with 128GB, so then if we were to spend more I don't know which of those two would be better.

Best Buy rep said last night she saves all her Procreate in the cloud so storage doesn't matter.

Anybody here have experience?

I can't help you on choices, but just something to keep in mind... if you do all the saving in the cloud, you need someway to get to the cloud. Which is fine if you're at home or work (wifi), but if you do things while on the go, are you going to get a data plan for the IPad (extra monthly cost)? Use a phone as a permanent hotspot (confirm it can)?

Just a thought.
