IoA/WWoHP Saturday 01/08/11 advice

I have a co-worker who plans to take some of her family to IoA, specifically for WWoHP. I told her about our HP experience yesterday, and thought y'awl could help with some pointers. (After being in that area on a Tuesday, I just laughed when she said they wanted to go on a Saturday.)

As her mother's b-day present, she is buying her an annual pass. (Not even sure she knew there were different types. But told her what little I knew.)
They are locals. However not sure how often they would go.
Doesn't sound like all of them would do the HP rides anyway. But they want to check out the area.

I suggested she buy Express Passes for this Saturday.

Thoughts? Tips?

The Express Plus pass tip is good although I would tell her to wait until she arrives and has a look at the wait times before spending the money. If they get there early, they could probably make do without it for the major attractions.

Remember that the Express Pass doesn't work on the new ride, Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey.

The express pass won't get them past the wait time to get into WWOHP or avoid the FJ line, so if WWOHP is their main goal, I wouldn't bother. They just need to be there as soon as the park opens, head straight to WWOHP, and get right into line for a return pass if there's already a line. Then they need to be prepared to wait in multiple lines to actually get onto the rides.

Once they read the exclusions on the express pass, they passed on that.
