IOA worth it if not fan of HP?

Hi, this will be my first visit to Universal Studios, and I was thinking to visit only this park and not IOA as I'm not a fan of Harry Potter, will I be missing a big thing?

I think the Harry Potter area of the park is worth visiting even if you are not a fan especially for the Forbidden Journey ride which is an amazing. But even beyond Harry Potter they are a lot of other great rides in IOA, especially if you are into thrill rides.

... In my opinion, anyway. I was there in 2009 before Potter and I love this park. Thrill ride central, Jurassic Park, Dr. Doom, Spiderman, Dudley Do Right... Go, you'll enjoy yourself..

IOA was worth it before HP, and even moreso now. Hulk & Spiderman alone make this park worth a visit...

This year we're going to do 2day park to park, just because there's always something I wanna go back to. We've done both in one day, wasn't terrible just wasn't enough for us....

Two parks in one day for a first-time visitor is probably too much. I recommend keeping to one park a day, unless you have Express or are going during a completely dead time of year.

This. I enjoyed IoA well before HP opened. Also, I'm not an HP fan but I love that area of the park. And the Dueling Dragons coaster is fantastic -- you don't have to be a Potter fan to enjoy that.
