IOA/US Which day for which park?

We will be visiting on October 9 (sunday) and 13 (thursday) during our WDW trip. Would one day or the other be a better day to visit IOA? My original plan was US on Sunday, but, after reading the recent report about IOA on Sunday, I'm wondering.

You can't go wrong with either park on either day that time of the year.

What makes Sunday crowds interesting to me is how relatively light they are for a weekend. I've had a number of pretty quiet Sundays at UO now, but Thursday would be just as good if not better.

Do pay attention to HHN however. The Studios will close earlier than normal on HHN nights, which I admit I have no idea when it starts. IoA should be unaffected.

ETA: Alright, I looked it up. HHN is running both nights you are there. Get to the Studios as early in the day as you can to maximize your time.
