Since I can't find 2 day/2park tickets, we are only going for one day. I have an 8 year old and a 6 year old who are 48 & 52" tall. Which park would you choose if you could only go to one? What are the differences in the 2 parks?

( We cannot buy the 7 day pass b/c of scheduling conflicts we could not return for the 2nd day within 7 days.)

Thanks!
Heather

I am buying a one day 2 park ticket for adult $75 for child $63. You can park hop
we are going to ioa first suess landing then going to universal. IOA also has the spiderman ride (cool) the hulk and other cool rides. so if your kids like the wild rides then go to IOA universal has the mummy ride, shrek, twister, and jimmy nutron as well as jaws MIB and back to the future, they also have curious george park and younger rides too.

Just get a 1 Day 2 Park pass. Its only like $10 extra for another park. I'm not a kid (in 20s) but love walking through Suess Landing and riding the trolley ride along with the roller coasters. I dont like getting soaked but enjoy the water rides at IOA so I usually wear clothes that can dry fast. In Universal, I like the Curious George play area where I can throw/shoot balls at friends and tourists below. I always make sure I visit this area.

nevermind...just reread your post and saw you couldn't do both days wihtin the 7 day timeframe.

From reading the post it sounds like you do have two days that you can visit but they are more then 7 days apart. There is a 2 day 2 park ticket available from Ticketmaster . Whats special about this ticket is that it expires 30 days from the first use so you have pretty much a full month to use the second day (it also expires on December 23, 2007 so your trip does have to be this year). I have never ordered Universal tickets from Ticketmaster but I have read about others who have and I have not heard any complaints yet.

To purchase the tickets you need to use a password which is FAN62397 (pretty sure its case sensitive)

Now if you are sure you want to only go a single day I would do both its only about $10 more to get a two park ticket. I would hit IoA in the morning and then the studios in the afternoon.

(There is also a 2 day 2 park ticket at the gate and I am sure other online stores sell them but I thought this one would be best)

So both are doable in one day?

thanks!
Heather

Personally, I would say that in order to appreciate both parks you need more than 1 day. And also unless you have FOTL you are likely to encounter some lines at the second park. However, if you were interested purely in the headliner attractions (Hulk, Spiderman and Duelling Dragons at IOA and Mummy, Shrek, Jaws and MIB at Universal) you probably could do it. I do think you run the risk of coming out ofthe parks feeling like you haven't enjoyed them because you've either been too rushed or you haven't seen hardly anything because of the time constraints.

If you CAN do 2 days, IMO that would be much better. Even having been to US/IOA several times before, I would still not try to 'do' both parks in one day. While we may be tempted to wander over to another park just to soak up some atmosphere, we wouldn't go later in the dday expecting to be able to ride anything.
