Are we still planning on doing a day at IOA on the 2nd?

I would love to ride the big rides with you guys :)

I'm glad that you brought this up, but I didn't know that it was planned for Monday, December 2, 2002.

Dave was considering doing an MGM day that morning and then lunch DIS mini-meet at 50's Prime Time Cafe. I really want to go to that 50's Prime Time Cafe DIS mini-meet because it should be a riot.

And Towncrier was talkng about Cirque du Soleil on Monday night, December 2, 2002.

But I would also love to go to Universal also.

Maybe we can move the MGM thing to Tuesday, December 3, 2002.

I really don't know how this will work, but if everybody can put their noodles together, I bet that we can come up with something.

And so it begins...it's June and we are starting to brain storm ideas.

Come on commandos...unite!!! Let's start to figure this out...lol.

 Oh Lordy! Here we go! Not enough time to do everything we want to do. I'm going to have to start 'picking and choosing'. :( Ugh, I hate that. :( Oh well, at least I have the opportunity to pick and choose, right? :smooth: Never mind, I'm not complaining. ;) :p

IOA is definitely out for me! I'm the Coaster Chicken, remember? ;)

I think I'm leaning towards MGM----or at least the Prime Time lunch meet! :D

Well, count me in as someone who loves IOA.

::the Disney crowd gasps in disbelief::

Love the coasters, the theming, and the Jurassic Park river ride. So count me in, whatever day it is.....

I arrive on the 29th, depart on the 14th. WHOO-HOOOOOO!

I'm not sure if I'll be around, but why not do IOA on Sunday and USF on Monday?

:D :D :D Coaster fanatics Nancy & Barry checking in for IOA MEET! I don't know if we will be available on Sunday, though. We might be checking out houses in Florida that day. Barry can retire in 5 years, and FL is definitely in our future. One of Barry's requirements for our next trip is that we start looking, & as for me, well, I'm all for it! :D :D :D

I was thinking of doing MGM commando style on Mon. We will not have transportation from VWL to US/IOA. My thoughts for 50's Primetime waas if there is a Fantasmic dessert party to have it that day. We have several DISers who do not come in until Mon or Tues who want to do 50's also. I was looking for a couple of DISers to go commando style. DW does not do that well.:D . There is still plenty of time and we are waiting for the schedule from Pete so we can start going even more crazy with our ideas. :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

BTW we are moving and my DS got marrie last weekend. I hope to post a couple of pics later in the week from the wedding. Proud parent time.:jester: :p

 Hi Dave. Congratulations to your son. :D And good luck with the moving.....ugh! :( ;) You're right about needing Pete's plans before we move on this one. Can't wait to see some Proud-Parent-Pictures. ;) :) :D :p :bounce:

Patrick, Hi Sweetie. I haven't been on any of the big rides at IOA, yet. I'm pretty sure they don't allow Driving Elephants at IOA. Shucks!!! ;)

Congratulations, Dave!!!!!! :sunny:

Tia, stay for 2 more weeks so you can get it all in.

USF and IoA are great parks, and I do none of the coasters there. So many other good things too. Remember that Cirque goes dark on the 3rd, so nothing after the 2nd.

Have there been any more 'official' DIS-Con announcements in the past few weeks??

Come on commandos...unite!!! Let's start to figure this out...lol

Ray you are so funy LOL!!

I would LOVE it if we were to change the MGM day to the 3rd as that way I would have more time to spend with Beth (CraztBoutDisney) otheriwse I will be playing 'catch up' ;) I arrive LATE on the 2nd, but dont fear i will track you all down, it doesnt matter what time it is :D

Sad but true i havent got enough tiem to fit in a day at IOA, great idea though.

Emma

Whoops I forgot Hoop Dee Doo is ont he 3rd. So little time and so much to do!! :Pinkbounc

Hey the first or the second sounds great to me - I have an annual pass to US/IOA that I have hardly used - been to US but not IOA - so I would love to go -- just say when. I will have my car staying at OKW so if anyone needs a ride - just say so.

I want to ride Men in Black! I love that ride. But it's at USF, not IOA. Of course, we all now know I'm not doing the Hulk and I don't do Dueling Dragons. But I will ride Spiderman and, under a little duress, will do Dr. Doom's Fearfall.
I also love The Cat in the Hat ride!! I love that whole area. Hey, I even like to ride One Fish, Two Fish (red fish, blue fish. Black fish, brown? fish, old fish, new fish) I always liked that book and "Go, Dog, Go"!!!!!! LOL:p :p

Congratulations, Dave.

I haven't been to IOA, nor have I been on MIB, which I would like to do, too.

I think that the 50's Prime Time Cafe is going to be a hoot and I want to be there.

Dan, the last information was registration is now open, and if you would like to host or have an idea for a DIS mini-meet, then e-mail Marsha.

I want to do everything...lol.

I also won't be arriving until 5ish on the 2nd which is a bit of a shame as I really wanted to do a day at IoA :(

Question: Does IOA have non-coasters for this chicken? Or do I need to stay back and wash my hair? ;) :p

I think so. You can do:

IOA:
Cat in the Hat
Caro-seuss-sel
One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish
Posideon's Fury
Triceratops Encounter
Jurassic Park River Adventure
Camp Jurassic
If I Ran the Zoo
Spider-Man (must do, no matter how chicken you are :) )

USF:
Terminator 2
Gory, Gruesome, and Grotesque Horror Makeup Show
E.T. Adventure
Men in Black
Jaws
Wild, Wild, Wild West Stunt Show
Barney :)
Curious George Goes to Town
Fifel's Playland
Earthquake
Kongfrontation
Twister
Beetlejuice
Nick Studios Tour

And the best ride of them all...

The bench by the ride exit. Someone's got to hold the bags! :)
