IOA - Fortune Teller - Predictions coming true!!

A while back we were talking about the fortune teller at IOA, and I was saying how her predicitions were coming true.

Just remembered something else she said and that's coming true too! All personal stuff I can't air on the net unfortunately but it's quite scary. Anyone else visited and had results?

Even more spooky........I've got a ghost in my house!!! No kidding. Suspected it for a while now - it stands outside my bedroom door in the hallway. Other's have heard it pottering about upstairs - when no-one is up there! When it's around you can smell it - a really strange smell. Last night infact I was lying in bed reading...anyway I could see a shadow just outside.....I tiptoed to the door and there was a rustle as I swung the door open and.....nothing there. I whispered...."okay...you're sprung...I know you are there, come on out" in the darkness....but silence. What am I going to do???!!!

Did you happen to visit "It's a Small World" at the MK when in Orlando? You may not have a ghost.....I think one of the dolls may have followed you home! Very evil, those small world dolls.

Tell the ghost that you're not afraid of it. And mean it.

Thanks DM.....glad someone believes me!! The shadow of it is quite tall. I thought at one time it might be my dad (he died young aged 54). I was in a car accident a few years ago - was hit on the side of the car at a crossroads - the car felt like it was going to spin over - but I somehow found this tremendous strength to hold the steering wheel and steer the car up onto a pavement preventing it from going over. I was convinced I had help (my dad!). It has been a very stressful time for me one thing and another, so it did cross my mind. On the other hand, I'm sure my dad would try and let me know it was him. This spirit or whatever it is goes. I don't think I am scared of it - but I do feel uneasy sometimes (like when I'm undressing).

Thanks Prince Eric...... I knew I could count on you! Honestly though.....this is all true.... I'd better get cooking then if I'm expecting you all....what would you like? - how about Roast Beef and Yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes and fresh vegetables followed by Selina's creamy bread and butter pudding?

It all sounds great to me. You'd better cook extra for the young bachelors though, (I'm assuming Barry and DM are), as they probably don't get good home cooking often.
I hope your problem does get resolved though. I can not think of anything worse than feeling uncomfortable in your own home.

It's very strange. The ghost is about during the day not just at night. When I come in from nursery school and I'm about to take my briefcase upstairs, I'm not even thinking of ghosts - then there's a scuffle and it sounds like someone's in and just walking across the landing and you feel like shouting "hiya...I'm home".

Hmmmm....so what are your plans?? How could I set up a trap?

Ok, not going to get too into this topic, but ....

from what I understand you should ask for spritual guidence as you know it from what is "good" - ask for protection and guidence and to fill your house with love .

Then, tell the spirit in your home when they are welcome ...and when they are NOT (like " get out of here when I am dressing and I'd really rather that you didn't come around at night please...that creaps me out".)

Say your prayers , etc...

It could be your dad and perhaps he just need to understand his boundries a little better.

Spiritual guidance sounds a good idea....not sure though where to go for that. I have thought of calling a seance between me, a friend and "it" to see if we can make contact. What do you think of that idea? Not sure how we would do it though.

Spritual Guidence should be sought from God... or the Great Spirit...or Allah....or Creator....or whatever name you feel comfortable with. You can do this all on your own with prayer (simply talking).

A seance may or may not produce any insight - the trouble here is finding someone "qualified" who is not a con artist.... there are tons on people out there who are willing and able to take your money and leave you with a bunch of "mumbo jumbo" (nothing).

Some people think that some spirits (ghosts) need direction on how to find "the light" (the entrance into their afterlife). Basically you tell the spirit that they should consider heading towards the "light" - to not be afraid , that the light is good and wants them to be happy and that if they are afraid they should ask God to help them find the light.

Ok, now everyone on the Universal Boards thinks Puffy2 is crazy...
perhaps I shouldn't have responded to this question...hope I didn't "weird anyone out".....

Puff, we're all friends here. It sounds like good solid advice to me. My problem is, I have never believed in ghosts, I'm one of those see it to believe it kind of guys, but the thought really intrigues me. I love the shows on TV about the haunted places and would love to visit these places someday to see if anything unusual happens. The shows usually say that England has one of the highest numbers of ghost sightings in the world due to its long history. I would love to here more as you find out Selina, as I really do find the subject facinating.

I don't believe in ghosts, nor fortune telling, but find it a bit frightening as well as interesting.

It is strange I know. Haven't heard it yet today.........I think it knows I know you know. Now why am I whispering.

Prince Eric.....other happenings: spilt milk in the kitchen from the milk jug - I actually heard it happen though I was in the lounge at the time......and my daughter believing I was upstairs talking to me from her bedroom when I wasn't and getting cross because I didn't answer. When she realised I was downstairs - was very surprised and I told her I was upstairs for a minute then went back down.....actually I was downstairs all the time!

Total and complete belief from me. A ghost pretty much saved our lives one night in our vehicle. We had just left a rest area and were driving 70+ mph on the interstate. My mom was driving and my 2 kids were in the far back seat in the minivan. All of a suddent a voice goes, 'Is XXXXX (son) alright?'. I immediately yell the same thing and my mom slammed on the brakes. A split second later a LARGE sharp object - 9 to 12 inches - thrown up by the semi in front of us cut down the front tire. Since she had nailed the brakes we were already mildly slowing - mom was barely able to twist the van to the right and coast down the exit ramp that was there. I'm still firmly convinced that it would have gone thru the front window or the grill etc or if we had still been going full speed it would have been too easy for her to have lost control. My poor mom said, 'why did you say that'? I said -'you didn't hear it?' and explained. She firmly believes that I heard it (she believes in ghosts too) and that it saved us from who knows what! And that's just one instance....................

OK - so WHERE is the fortune teller? I would love to see her. DD & I had our palms read in Jackson Sq in New Orleans and it was FREAKY!!! My DD is about as 'unusual' for her age as can be and this gal had her pegged - right down to a range of about 3 days guess for her birthday (no birthstones on her) which was RIGHT!

As you head to Dueling Dragons from Seuss, or towards Posiedon (coming from Dragons), you'll see a tent. The tent is near the entrance to the 8th voyage of Sindbad. In that purple tent is where they are.

I totally believe in ghost or spirits! I've seen my great-great aunt who passed away when I was 10. She was standing at the foot of my bed. I happened to be the one who found her when she had a massive stroke. I was visiting my grandmother and my grandmother, my other aunt, and myself went to visit other relatives for a couple of hours. I kept having these bad vibes. I told my grandmother that we HAD to go home right then. When we got home, I ran into the house and went right to my great-great aunt who was lying on the floor from the stroke. I have also seen a man dressed like an old Quaker. These "sightings" took place in my old house. I haven't seen OR felt anything in my new house. I also believe in angels that watch over us and try to protect us.
