Does anyone know if I will need to pay for a 2 yr old? I would like to take the kids, but don't think I want to pay $12 for the little guy to eat two bites of food.

when i went to check out as if i were buying the breakfast, the prices were listed as children 12 and up

How are the character interactions? Do they spend a good amount of time with you? We only really plan to go for Spiderman, my 4 yo is obsessed with him- and that is our main reason for going to IOA next year

based on personal experience and what others have posted, yes, you do receive a LOT of time with Spidey.
if only a few families are there, you will be wishing for the characters would move on so you could eat!

it is the characters at the breakfast that make it so great, rather than the food.

I haven't done the breakfast but others on the board will tell you the interactions with the characters are far superior than character dining at Disney. Your son should have a blast with Spiderman.

We saw Cat in the Hat also, the character interaction was the best of any character meal ANYWHERE! Spidey is awesome!!

this is sooo good to know! there is no alot of info on this- i wonder how busy or not, the IOA breakfast is? We got tixs/ressies for thursday aug 20 at 900! fingers crossed there is alot of interaction!

I was thinking of doing this breakfast, but really haven't made up my mind yet. I read somewhere, maybe reviews on tripadvisor that it did not include drinks.
Here is info from the Universal site, the way I read it taxes and gratuties are included. Can someone clarify that. I'd do it if gratuties were included.

dpuck - how's the food. I assume they have eggs, pancakes and waffles. If they do then my kids will eat.

The food was equal to a decent hotel hot breakfast, nothing special.

We did this last year and it was amazing. Spiderman, CITH & Thing 1 & 2.We were there for over an hour and had approx 10 mins with no charcters. My daughters were 3 1/2 & 6 months and the things basically sat and played with the 3 year old and Spiderman baby sat the 6 month old. At Disney the characters aren't allowed to hold babies or put them on their knees etc but Spiderman basically held on to hours for an hour - flying her round the restaurant and telling dd3 she had to look out for her sister! It was great - we've booked again for October. Just as a side note - it's never very busy and there's no need to pay up front if you don't want to - you can still email for a ressie without having paid. There was 3 families in the whole time we were there last year!
