Hi everyone. Another mouse fan going over to the dark side for 1 day. We are at my husbands convention next week and will be going to IOA on Friday March 30 - can not change date as it is a planned convention excursion. Will be there before park opens and will be leaving by 4 as we have a party booked at City Walk that night. To be honest, I am terrified :scared::scared: like so many I know WDW like the back of my hand and know what rides have long lines, what to hit first etc. Plus love my fast pass. Here I feel like a fish out of water. I am going to read the restaurant sticky but any advice would just make my day! I am begging the IOA Gods for help! :worship::worship:

My advice would be to head over to Wizarding World first because you won't be able to do it in the evening. They will usually open the park 15 minutes early so make sure you are there at least 30 minutes early. Do Forbidden Journey right away and then anything else in Wizarding World that interests you. Since you have limited time, I wouldn't bother with Ollivander's. If the line for Forbidden Journey is crazy long, you can always do the single rider line to cut down on your time but that will also cut out most of the castle and not allow you to see a lot of really cool things inside the castle.

After you are done in Wizarding World, I would head back out through the entrance (past Hogwarts Express) and do Cat in the Hat. Continue going to Hulk, Spiderman and Dr. Doom.

AFter that, I would head through Toon Lagoon to Jurassic Park and do the River Adventure and then come back through Toon Lagoon and do any water rides that may interest you.

In there somewhere you'll need to grab some food!

Thank you damo for such a wonderful plan! I really appreciate. I have no idea what they have planned for us at Citywalk but I'm sure we will tiptoe out to do our own thing. Any best places for a good cocktail?

Margaritaville, of course!

Margaritaville, of course!

An excellent suggestion! :thumbsup2

Margaritaville also has an outdoor seating area called the Porch of Indecision. If the weather is nice, this is a good option.

Also, Citywalk has several free-standing alcohol stands. If you'd like to walk around Citywalk with drink in hand, this is a good option.

One final suggestion, if you're looking for entertainment while drinking, Pat O'Briens has a piano bar. Always fun to sit and listen to the pianos while enjoying a Hurricane drink.

here is the website for city walk.

i don't know your food preference but i love Latin Quarter and NBA City and HRC.

Many thanks everyone! Didn't know there were drink stands ...:banana: looking forward to it!
