My friend's DD has a friend her age (8). Things she is telling my friend are concerning her and she tells them freely without any prodding from her.
* the mother's boyfriend watches her dress.
* she vomits every night, but medically there is no problem found according to her mother when my friend asked why. This girl has slept over and vomited there too.
* when the girl does sleep over, she tried to encourage the daughter to have both of them go sleep with my friend's husband which my friend found odd and told them absolutely not.
* she tells my friend that someone visits her at night in her sleep but she doesn't know who.
* days later she told my friend that she knows now that it is an angel that comes to see her at night and it's a male.
* my friend asked her if the angel talked to her and what it said and her reply was "roll over".
There's more I can't remember exactly, but I'm wondering what you would do in this situation? My friend is afraid to cross a line and have this family turned upside down, but....there's a girl that may truly be in trouble. I thought maybe telling the school counselor anonymously what she's been told was a good place to start.
Over reacting or reason for concern? My gut tells me she's in trouble.
