I would strongly caution against contacting the girl's mother. In many cases, the mother will believe the boyfriend instead of the child. There is no way to tell the way the mother will react. Call DCF directly, even if anonymously. Involving the school, especially with an anonymous tip, will only prolong the time before help arrives for this girl.

This is what I was going to say. You or your friend (preferably)needs to contact the police or DCF. I would NOT call the mother.

I hope somebody has already been contacted.
