Playing with the idea of a vow renewal.

None of our family would be able to fly out -- and while I know you can pay for characters.. I also know you can book small weddings, with only a few people in attendance.

Has anyone, whether your a WDW/DL regular or not, invited maybe CM's from restaurants or that you've seem on repeat trips to your ceremony?

Did they come?

I haven't tried it, but if I were the CM I would come if a guest cared enough to invite me! lol

haha! I love the idea. A handful, especially Aladdin and Jasmine made my trip. We met them, twice, they sat and discussed the brain condition I have with me - for far longer than I expected them to talk to an adult in a picture line. Was definitely a pixie dust moment.

But at the same time. I can't imagine talking to a planner and being like, "Okay. These servers, and *shows picture* this Aladdin and Jasmine. Those people, made my trip fantastic. Can you help me figure out how exactly to invite them? Out of character, I mean?
:lmao:

Speaking as a former CM, it would be difficult unless you let them know ahead of time since they might be scheduled that day for work.
