Invitation to BOG FP?

It's asking for my resort reservation id. When I put in my confirmation number though, it only takes the first three numbers and won't let me type in the last three letters. Where do I find this ID?
 
Can someone tell me what the difference is between FastPass Direct to Table or FastPass Expedited Arrival?

We are going in middle of May and I check every day to see with that link. I missed that there was invites for it.

Direct to table means, you've selected your food and you can go right to a table. Expedited arrival means, you will need to go through the line and order your food. The enchanted magic band comes in handy for direct to table.
 
So if I use the link and book lunch, will it take one of my 3 available FP+s for the day or will I still be able to book 3 in addition to lunch? Thanks
 

I received the invitation while in WDW, the day before we were to go to MK. I am assuming they know you'll be going to MK since you have your FP+ already reserved, and the invitation was to pick your meal and use direct to table. We didn't use it, because it wanted us to arrive at 11am and would have conflicted with what we already had planned to do, but I wish we would have had time to do it.

If you use this it shouldn't take away from your other 3 FP+ options.
 
Where can I get a FASTPASS for Be Our Guest Restaurant? Disney’s FASTPASS Service is not available at Be Our Guest Restaurant. We are testing our new FastPass+ service and Guests have been randomly selected in advance to be a part of that test. We are not able to accommodate additional test participants at this time.

Why can’t I participate in the FastPass+ test at Be Our Guest Restaurant? The FastPass+ test is limited to Guests who were randomly selected in advance. Any Guest can dine at Be Our Guest Restaurant for lunch as space is available.

My family has a June vacation planned and I'm currently planning away...
We are staying at Art of Animation which I'm very excited about.
I had originally thought that everyone would be able to use the link circulating around this web site to set up a lunch fp for BOG. I just saw that that is incorrect. You must be sent an email invitation inviting you to participate in the lunch fp program. If that is the case... does anyone know how I can make sure my family qualifies for this? We really want to eat lunch at BOG and would love the convenience of the fp. Since we are staying on property does this mean we will be sent the email? Any experts on this topic I'd love for you to weigh in. Thank you ahead of time! :)

I never have received an invitation to participate in BoG lunch fast pass. I simply signed up for it via the web link. Obviously you must be staying onsite and have the reservation information to put in when it prompts you to do so.

We've done it twice without any sort of "invitation" to do so.

So try it and see.

It does not count as one of the 3 FP+ attraction passes. You still get those 3.

I have a friend who also had the same problem. I'm guessing you won't be one of the randomly selected.
 
Question - I booked a time, and when I re-log in I see it, but is not showing up in my itinerary under MDE. it is only there when I re-log in to the BOG link that was posted. I have printed out a copy of my reservation and can bring with me - should that be enough?

I used the link, have not received an official invite.

It is not linked to MDE at all right now. You should be fine. I had the printouts for two reservations last week, but didn't need them-- our name was the iPad at the check in area.
 
I have used the link multiple times with no real troubles. The first time I used it, the cast member couldn't find me in the system but a second cast member found me in just a few seconds. The other times have been perfect. I have been invited a few times and following the link in the invitation was no different from following the link here. (I had no need for the invitation because I had already set up my reservation)

Cast members will tell you that you have to be invited because, technically, you should only be able to get the fastpass if you are invited. They can't just go around announcing this link to everyone.

One thing that can happen, and what I believe might be happening to the people who have been turned away, is that after you go through the process of making your fastpass selection, it is not saved in the system. There have been many people who, after they confirmed their time, found that the system didn't actually confirm anything. If you make your reservation successfully, you will be able to go back into the system and see it. If it doesn't save, going back into the system will only let you select a new time. Make sure your reservation is actually confirmed before going!!

Also, I think some of the people who said they were turned away weren't staying on property. A few talked about needing to use the fastpass+ kiosks and not being able to use the app to change fastpass selections. Both signs of an off-property stay. I don't have any proof of this (just what I gathered from various posts), but you have to be staying on property to get into the system.

To summarize - stay on property and make sure your reservation is not only confirmed, but also viewable by going back into the system to check that it is there.

We used the link about 30 days before our trip, but like they said... the first time I thought I had booked it but hadn't. Went back in to double check and got it right the second time.

We also got the email invite the day of check in for each of our reservations in February.

Use your Magic Bands confirmation number instead of your resort confirmation number. They are different.
