Inventions Meal Planning Advice Please

I'm hoping to book our restaurants today or tomorrow. I've had a rough outline of where we want to eat & when for a while. I'm planning on a character meal everyday.

I was hoping to do Inventions on our last night, it being expensive, I thought it would be a nice end to our trip. The dilemma I am having is this

Day 1 planning to spend time in Disneyland Park & have lunch at Walts as it's our wedding anniversary & Cafe Mickey for dinner.
Day 2 planning to spend time in the Studio's
Day 3 , final day, planning to be in the Park again & I really wanted to have lunch at Agrabah Cafe - DD & I are veggy & I've read this is a good option for veggies, plus DD who hardly eats anything loves hummus.

BUT if we did this, we'd be having 2 buffet meals in one day, which makes me feel overstuffed with food at the thought of it.

My alternative plan is to do Cowboy Cookout tea party final evening & Inventions on the middle night, but then I feel a bit about cakes for our last meal & no doubt we'd still need to grab something to eat a little later.

As we're going during silly busy season, I don't want to spend lots of time battling the crowds with a pram moving from places far apart.



Also, what is the best time to eat at Inventions for character interaction?

How about swapping your Cafe Mickey meal with your Inventions one? Both are character meals from just after 6pm each evening.

That would be ideal, except we want to do Walts for lunch that day, with it being our wedding anniversary & then that's 2 expensive meals in one day. I'd chosen Cafe Mickey as we could order less if we were still stuffed from lunch.

okay, another thought then - how about Cafe Mickey for lunch or dinner on your 2nd day? If you're in the Studios park anyway, you're only 10 minutes walk from Cafe Mickey there.
That would free you up on your first day to perhaps pick from one of the lower-priced buffet restaurants, or even counter service or snacky type stuff in the Village for dinner?

Sorry I've just realised that doesn't help you at all with your Inventions/Agrabah Cafe dilemma - is Agrabah Cafe open for dinner on your 1st day? Its one of the lowest-priced buffets so Walts/Agrabah might work better than Agrabah/Inventions on the same day?

Inventions is best at 6pm - its a massive meal, good quality & very tasty, if we are doing an inventions we don't have lunch - breakfast & a small snack, its a beast of a meal - but worth every penny

Character interaction is great, staff friendly and attentive & food is great
