Leaving the Happy Place
Well this is the day that we have all dreaded since the day we arrived.

Last night we decided that we would eat breakfast before we leave but the rest of the Bushwackers wanted to leave early so they could get home before dark. I think we were wanting to put off leaving as long as we could. No wake up calls, no alarm clocks, nothing. Just wake up and get moving as we felt like moving.
Of course I was up at daylight with CL following close behind. As I was making coffee the others were already packed and about to head out the door.
After a couple of cups of coffee I start packing. (ball up all my things and throw them in the suitcase). How in the world are we going to fit all this stuff back in the truck? Maybe we need to rent a trailer to get home. Is it really possible to acquire this much stuff in 7 days?

So we finally get everything packed up and decide to head down to the boardwalk. We pick up a ton of pastries and milk and take one last stoll around the boardwalk before we have to depart.

Back up at the room while waiting on bell-services we take a few pics of our view. I know Ive posted some of these, if not all of them already but here they are again.

Ok, we get loaded, fueled up and hit I-4. I tell CL (my navigator) to keep an eye out for the exit for the florida turnpike. I dont think she heard me because she was attempting to set up a movie for DD. Of course as we are getting close to our exit and CL decides that there is something that I need to see on the other side of the highway. By me looking at what ever it is that she is pointing to, I miss my exit. Only thing is that I did not realize this until we get to the next one and I realize, hey, this isnt my exit. By this time Ive already passed the next one and have to wait until the 3rd on past to find out for sure.
So we exit at the next one and YES, I do stop and ask for directions. Of course I passed it up. Its 3 miles back the other way. Finally we get back to the CORRECT exit and onto the turnpike headed north FINALLY.
It's not over yet......
