Last Full Day in Our Happy Place.

Ok, so today is our last FULL day in our happy place. We don’t have any plans at all including ADRs. It is up to the kids to decide what we are doing today and we will try to get ressies at FFC and spend our evening on the boardwalk watching the shows there while everyone is out watching fireworks.
The kids want to go back to MK and DD says that she will try to ride BTMRR this time. Now we have tried to get her on this ride on at least 3 different occasions to my dismay she has changed her mind while in line or standing (blocking) the entrance to the ride. LB and JON don’t want to go back to MK so they hit the other parks and we decide to meet later. They, after all, are still newly-weds (13 months) so we don’t have a problem with it. We still needed to mail a few post cards and pick up a couple more gifts, so MK was ok with us. Besides, I wanted to try LTT and this might be my chance.
Off to MK we go in search of the BTMRR before DD has time to rethink her statements of the morning. We get back to BTMRR and the posted time is 40 min and the return time for fastpass was around 4:00 so we get in line and DD is nervous but ok. Half way through the line the fast passers kept pouring in like like I wuz pushing the water out the clowns mouth at the BW pool. The wait time turned out to be 55 mins as opposed to the posted 40 mins.
Of course, once we get off the ride DD says she LOVED it and “can we do it again??? Now the posted time is 60 mins. No baby, let’s go on something else, I don’t want to spend all day in this line. So we cross the street and hit TSI.
Where do they teach these girls how to drive these boats. She attempted to leave the dock prior to removing the rope. After slinging a few of the passengers into each other and a couple of “watch where you put your hand’s", she discovers the bow line still attached to the dock.
That wasn’t rough enough she drove the “raft” like she thought the breaks worked just like on her car, or maybe she thought that is what the bumpers on the raft and the dock or for. We were thankful to see that see was not at the controls when it was time for us to head back across the river and dodge the big boat.
We are getting hungry so we stroll on down to the LTT and check on the wait time. About 30-45 mins, so we give them our names and get one of the dreaded BUZZer thingys.

The kids are about to “starve to death” So I grab some popcorn while waiting. This should help for the time being.
We are seated in about 25 minutes. CL & BG got the crab cakes for app, I got the fried cheese and SG got the chowder. CL & BG said the crab cakes were the best they had all week. (they tried them 3 or 4 times) CL ordered the pasta, I got the Angus Chuck Cheeseburger, and I don’t know what BG & SG had and of course the kids got the mac and cheese and a hotdog from the kiddy menu. We all got ice tea in the LTT mugs. The food here was pretty good. I will definitely eat here again. When our waitress came back I asked her if we could keep our mugs. She said for $5.00 we could, then walked off. Sure enough they sell them at the front for $5.00 each. We now have a couple of LTT mugs we use all the time at home (for tea and beer).
After we are stuffed we take a cruise on the steamboat before heading back towards the front for souvenirs and snacks to take back to the room.

Hey CL you left the laundry on the line again.
A couple of pics on the way to the front.
And I just had to get another pic of the castle.
After shucking out more $$$ for gifts and attempting to use up some of our snack credits we see this adorable little Jasmin and I politely ask her mom if I can take her picture. I believe she just came from the BBB.
We won't see this again this year.
To Be Continued.........Come on over and join us.
