How does it feel when you introduce family members or friends to WDW for the first time and they love it? Does it make you feel warm and fuzzy inside and happy that they know how you feel? I want so bad to introduce family members and friends but I don't know if I ever will. My coworker may be going in the future, but until then I will never know the feeling.

Please share some stories. :)

I brought my BF on my family trip in September. She does not have children, & has never been to Disney. It was so cool to see the excitement from someone who has never been. I loved getting her all pumped up. She really enjoyed playing with the kids too. She was amazed at how beautiful the Poly was. She also loved O'Hana & we got the free dining plan, so boy did we eat. For someone who has never been to a large theme park, she really loved the rides. It was fun to see her get all freaked out about TOT, Space Mountain & RNR coaster. Now it is so fun to talk about Disney with her, & she can see why we love to go.

I think the reason why I love coming here and sharing my experiences is because I cannot convince any family members how WONDERFUL and FUN Disney is.

I have a Brother and Sister.. each with families..... they prefer other types of vacations - Skiing, Beach Resorts etc.....
They know how much I LOVE going to Disney.... but they don't see the attraction to it!

Oh well.... thats what DIS friends are for, right? ;)

I wish I had that experience... last March DH and I went to WDW with 3 friends, 2 of which have never been to WDW or haven't been there since their younger years. Both of them enjoyed Universal & IOA better and felt they didn't need to go back to WDW until they have kids... yet they're going in May for a wedding and spending a few extra days there!

I was known as the DISNEY NERD in my family, my sister finally gave in and came with me with her 2 daughters , well they were the DISNEY NERDS by the end of our trip and were planning a return trip before we left. It was great to see the transformatation. :thumbsup2

We're bringing "newbies" with us in (HOOOORay!) 30 days! Have to confess to worrying that they may not "love" it as much as we do. I "rented" kids to bring once years back and had a blast! My favorite compliment was when they went to WDW a few years later with their folks, they actually called me from one of the parks to ask me some questions and tell me their folks just weren't as much fun as I was. My favorite compliment ever!
