Introducing myself

Someone from Illinois! We live in the central part of the state just south of Champaign in a tiny, tiny town. We should have an Illinois meet sometime. The only one I have ever seen on the boards was for people in the Chicagoland area. We are about 3 hours south of Chicago. I know where Carthage is though because my best friend and her husband grew up there and we have visited with them several times. Unfortunately, she passed away abaout 10 years ago (very young). Anyway, welcome to the boards and I look forward to reading your posts in the future!

Hi everyone! I thought I would take a minute to tell you a little about myself after being "introduced" on last week's podcast! My name is Leah Zanolla and I live in west central Illinois. I am married to David and we have two adorable little boys- Jacob is 3 and Jonah is 1.

After both going to WDW several times as kids, David and I thought it would be the perfect honeymoon- thus beginning our shared love of the World. We have been there together several times in the years since and enjoy ourselves more every time. We are really having fun passing on this love to our kids- Jacob tells everyone he meets about his trips to Disney and how everyone should stay at the "Pop Century Resort Hotel."

I visit all the boards, but I feel like the DIS Unplugged board is my "home." It's like a big family and it's great to be a part of it. I've been on the boards for years(one half of DavidandLeahZ), but have not been a frequent poster. I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone more as I get more involved and I’m sure you'll be hearing more from me!

Hi Leah, Congrats...

I am just curious how you ended up getting the job with Dis and the podcast. I know many of us on here would love to be in your shoes right now, so I am sure I'm not the only just curious about how you achieved it?
