Hi all!

I've been a Disney girl, born and bred. My parents are great Disney fans, in fact they were the ones who introduced me to the Disney magic. Snow-White was the first full-fledged movie I watched and I've watched and loved almost every Disney animated movie that's been made.

I'm not a little girl anymore, but I'm still a HUGE Disney fan. I've been to Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure Park [twice], Tokyo Disneyland & Disneysea [3 times] and Walt Disney World [twice]. I just got engaged a month ago, and my prince and I will be going to Walt Disney World this May as a kind of engagement trip.

The thing is, with regards to all things Disney, my fiance is my direct opposite. I think the only Disney movie he's ever watched is Tarzan [which we watched together on the plane ride back from Japan]. He knows the main mascots, but he sees them with adult eyes rather than with the same enchanted child-like eyes that I see them with.

This will be his first trip to WDW and I'd like it to be special for him. Is there any way that I can introduce him to the Disney magic so that it won't feel all strange and foreign to him? He really liked Tarzan so that makes me a little bit more hopeful.

We're both 22 years old this year if that helps!

Okay, let him experience it through your eyes. Don't try to point out everything. Let him embrace it. Are there things he really loves to do or just loves in general. Find similarities at Disneyworld and enjoy them together. Do some "adult" things together (i.e.; enjoy a nice meal at a nice restaurant, see a show, visit the world showcase countries, etc.) Sneak in the Disney magic as it happens. It will amaze you how quickly he will become "hooked". Most adults who were not disneyfied as kids think Disney is for kids till they really experience it. Most of all pace yourselves and don't try to commando everything.
