I've been on here for a few months now but mainly been lurking on the Disneyland California section after deciding that I will be visiting there next year while holidaying on USA west coats & Vegas.

We're off to DLP for our first time as a family in December after a rather impulsive decision on my part being as I will be working all over Christmas! Got a fantastic deal and am now counting down the days, although I have a whole stack of uni work to do first aswell as working!!

Great thread, its nice to hear a bit more about everyone!
Ive been lurking for a while but I havnt posted much.

So here we go... Im Emma, 29 and 3/4, currently dreading hitting 30 in January , I live with my partner jason, 37, DD Kelsey, 10, DS1 Jay, 7, and DS2 Sonny 11 months and as cute as a button and our spaniel puppy, Beau

I like card-making, jewellery making, and lurking on Disney sites lol

We last went to DLP in 2006 on 3 seperate days while we were on a camping trip, we absolutely loved it but havnt had chance or the cash to make it back..that is until Sept 09 and we are staying onsite for the first time

I know thats a long way off but it gives me more excuse to come here alot to plan every little detail!

Ive been on a few forums (not just Disney) and this one is by far the nicest and most helpful, Im definatley sticking around xx

Hi everyone, i'm sam from Bournemouth and i'm 20 (i prefer twenteen). I have a lovely little hamster called Frodo who is addicted to those little hamster chocolate treats and will just stand there looking at me until i give him one! I'm in my last year at plymouth uni studying wildlife conservation, which has taken me to Mexico and the beautiful rainforest in Borneo and i can't wait to finish my degree so i can do more travelling to the far away corners of the earth lol.

I'm a complete disney addict and the films are a large part of my procrastination when i'm supposed to be revising for exams or doing coursework. My first trip to DLP was in 2005 with my friend from school who i went with again in 2006. my trips in 2007 and 2008 were with ryan, my bf of 2 and a half years, and i've now given him the disney bug as well

my name is marion. I'm 23 and have 2 beautiful boys, aged 4 and 16 months. We are planning our first ever trip to disneyland paris on the 18 jan '09. I'm abit worried about the cost as everyone says how expensive it is, but at least we've got the half board premium vouchers. Well I'm reallly glad I found this site and every1 seem so friendly. I just wanted to say hi really.

This is us at WDW in August 2008!

We are going to DLP in October 2009 and we can't wait for our dose of Disney!

Us: Sarah (15), Simon (stepdad extraordinaire 37), Me - Shari (hmmm..39 ) and Kate (12)

Myself and the girls first went to DLP in 1998 in November (ah...the days before being tied by school holidays!) we stayed in the DLH which was convenient and looked beautiful with all the Christmas decorations up. Girls a bit little to go on much and scared of characters!

July 2001 - returned to DLP with in laws and two girls. Had a fantastic time staying in Sequoia Lodge. Went on lots of the tamer rides. Still wary of characters.

In 2002 Simon came into our lives - and the Disney mania really began! Thought we knew Disney? Think again! Si was a guru of all things Disney having been to Paris, Florida and LA multiple times!

2003 - Familymoon to DLP in October - Halloween! Fantastic! Saw loads of characters and went on lots of rides - not quite brave enough for the scarier ones! Have an amazing time.

2006 - Went to WDW with Si and his parents. Stayed at the Beach Club. Kate decided to become a thrill ride junkie so Si had a ride buddy while Sarah and I did lots of other rides and had cake.

2008 - Family holiday of a lifetime - the four of us went to WDW and stayed at CBR. Words cannot describe what an amazing time we had.

2009 - Sequoia Lodge here we come!

Hi, I have been reading through all the posts here for the last couple of weeks and I am delighted to say it convinced me to book! We are going Mon 19th Jan till the 24th Jan and staying at the Cheyenne with Half Board. I have a dp and mom to a 3yr old son and 10mth old baby girl, so have just spent the night internet shopping for snowsuits for her!

Just booked it 2 days ago and got a good deal, to be honest I never really thought of it as a holiday destination but started reading some posts and thought why not?

We are Irish and living in Ireland so booked through the UK site, worked out well for us.

If anyone is interested in a meet-up, that would be great too.

First of all I'd like to thank for all the help i got from you so far, you all are sooo nice folks

I'm Aristol (32) living with fiance Gabor (36), no kids yet. Usually we go to Disneyland once a year with my sister, her daughter (10), her boyfreind and our mom.

We're from Budapest, Hungary so like Germany we don't have any offers so I really need to concentrate all the tips you usually give me

This year we're going back to DLRP from June 20th-27th. Last year we went in September I'm happy to share some pics if you're interested

Hello, I am Michelle I am 40 and from Essex, I live with my partner Max who is my toyboy we have little Max 4 together and I have two girls Daniella 16 and Rhiannon 12 from my previous marriage. I work full time nights for TNT Express, I lost 6 stones the year before last and found out on Friday that I have gained back 4 of them so back on the diet yet again.

First trip to Disneyland Paris was back in Oct 2000 when I became a single mum and on a budget took a day trip which was tiring but also a very inexpensive way of seeing the park. 2nd trip was back Feb 2006 when Max was 15 months old, we are going back again in feb half term but the girls not coming this time as they are going away with their dad, much to their disgrace!!!!

Hi I'm Lisa we're going to DLP for the first time in March. I love reading this forum and I am addicted already even though I only found it a week ago.

I'm 39 and have a DH Jon, a DD Rachael who is 4 and wants to be a princess when she grows up along with a DS Harry who is 13 months.

I have been to WDW back in 1996 so I am not a complete novice to Disney parks but this will the rest of the family's first experience.

Hi all,

I'm Steve 39 and my wife (Hayley) is 38. We have 3 kids twins that will be 11 by the time of our holiday in March (Sean & Daniel) and little Aaron who is 2 and a bit.

I only found the forum yesterday, so will now be glued to it till my holiday. Hopefully picking up tips on what to do.
