**Introduce yourself!!!**

I haven't seen this thread before, so here finally is my introduction!

My name is Marjol, I just turned 28 and I live with my boyfriend Gerbert (26) in the sound of the Netherlands. I've been in love with Disney since my first trip to Disneyland Paris in the summer of '97.
I'm going on my 10th trip to DLP next thursday, march 6th! I can't wait for that trip! Gerbert isn't coming, but I'm going with a lot of family, so it should be fun anyway.

After a lot of hoping, wishing and convincing Gerbert, we went to Disneyworld last year and both really loved it! We loved it so much, that we'll be returning at the end of april for our honeymoon. We're getting married on april 22, and we're flying to Orlando on april 26.

This will be my first DLP trip since Disneyworld, so I'm very curious if I will still love it like I did before! I'm going to write a small TR in my pre-TR topic for our honeymoon, so you can check it out if you want :)

Hi I'm Jackie 42 married to Colin we have 3 DS 12,10 and 8 and DD 5.
We live in East Devon
Hooked on DLP since that first trip in 2000, wish I had known about this forum back then. My boys love the Explorers swimming pool and I think the DCR one looks even better!
DD loves all characters except Daisy Duck, who she calls 'No Pants!!', but she is planning to try Tower of Terror with me!!!!

pyebibby - what a small world. Where in East Devon do you live - I live in Honiton?

Hi, my name's Gail. I've just had my dreaded 50th buffday. I live with DH, not terribly mad about Disney unless he can go on lots of horrid rides, DD, 21 this year who loves all things Disney and DS who is 18 today!
As a treat I am taking my DS to DLRP in July for a week and we can't wait. Luckily we live in Kent so make use of Ashford International quite a lot.
We've been to WDW twice, once in 2001 off-site and once in 2006 in the Fort Wilderness Campground. I first took my kids to DLRP in 1997 as a surprise and we have been addicted ever since. We went back to DLRP for a week in 2004 and I took my DS for a day trip while on a week's stay in Paris in 2005. We also managed to get to California in 2003. I would go to DLRP every holiday, as would my son, if I could as I don't think I will manage to get back in a plane for a few years!
I don't work at the moment, well I haven't since I had DD in 1987. I have spent most of the time at home looking after my DS who has a form of Autism which made school very difficult.
Sorry to ramble. I am so pleased I found this site and so many like minded people.

I haven't seen this post either!
I'm Cathy (38) married to Elliot, with 2 children Dylan (6) and Freya (soon to be 3). I work for a Japanese book chain, from home in Stratford-upon-Avon and part-time but still with a London salary which is very jammy! I've worked for them 12 years and before that I lived in Japan, hence visiting Tokyo Disneyland. Have also been to WDW and DLRP twice.
Today we are toilet-training our very stubborn daughter who can last 7 HOURS without a wee!!!

Hi I'm Jo (oh heck 37!) and I live with Hubs Rhod and two children, Amy 4 and Euan, nearly 7. I work in insurance, but don't hold that against me!

My son has autism and until 2007 I hadn't dare go abroad with the kids as it just seemed far too complicated (real fussy eaters etc....)

Then we had the opportunity to go abroad and the idea of DLP was born. I mean, it could have been the worst thing ever, but we prepared ourselves and well, the Disney system via Eurostar was so simple all our worries left us once we 'landed' at Marne le Vallee. We went in March 2007 and are due to go again in a fortnight. Honestly, it was the best family holiday we had ever had and we booked again as soon as we could!

I've heard other disboarders (?) say they have taken children with autism to DLP and I hope they had a positive experience too. We plan to take in more rides this time and more parades and the evening show or fireworks if it's on.

I have a best friend who has been going to WDW in Florida all her life and I thought she and her hubby were crazy..... until I went!

... And here's a pic of me and DBF!

Just saw this, thought I'd post a 'hello'.

I'm J. R. from Chicago, IL, USA. Been mostly lurking while planning our first DLRP trip. Long time DIS poster, mostly on the DCL forum. Done all the US parks and Disney Cruise Line too many times to count, so now expanding our Disney horizon.

We'll be in London and Paris at the end of the month with our DS14, DS11 and DD6, including a couple of days at DLRP. First trip to Paris for the kids, second for me, but DW has been there twice in the past year for work. It's DW's first trip to London, although my job has taken me there quite often.

Thanks for all the helpful information, y'all!
