I know - the local Petsmart does a great job promoting them but I live in a community with pet bylaws - no more than 2 dogs and/or 3 cats. And I already have my 2 schnauzers...hmm...unless I move

We hav e3 adult Samoyeds:
Diamond age 10
Misty age 3 and
Logan age 1 1/2 (ok, he's not really an adult mentally)

And 6 Samoyed puppies age 7 1/2 wks. (Misty is the Mom)

A friend of mine had a chinchilla and they kept her in a cage.

Meet Missy. Missy is a 6 year old border collie/black lab mix. Her personality is more border collie than lab, but the lab part does make her a little bit more laid back than a pure bred b.c. Often too smart for her own good, her brains often get her into trouble.

She demands almost constant attention, and will let you know in no uncertain terms when she feels that you are not giving her the devotion that she so richly deserves. She doesn't bark often but has a hard time stopping once she starts.

Missy loves to play with other doggies, but insists on being an "only dog", she just gets too jealous of other dogs when they are around me. She is also a bit jealous of my fiance, Tim. She loves Tim, but sees him as competition for my attention. She has been known to do the following to Tim:

Stealing his favorite baseball hat and hiding it
Peeing on his foot.
Peeing on the rug 2 minutes after comming in from a long walk.
Nipping him on the hand or butt (nipping is a hearding instinct most border collies can't be 100% broken of, at least that I've heard of. Does no damage).

At the same time, she loves him to death and gets mad at him when he works overtime and isn't home as much. Poor guy just can't win!

I am still new to posting pic's. Dan has helped me alot. Thanks Dan. In my sig, is my 2 1/2 year old trained seizure dog. She is now retired at age 2, due to my Pancreas Transplant. She is a 13" Tri-Color Beagle. Her name is Jamie! Thanks Jamie for all of your hard work, you are my world. I have been blessed that I get to keep her!

LOL....those are cranes. You see them all over here in FL. They are harmful (at least so far for us). They just wonder around the neighborhood usually in pairs, but sometimes you see a baby also. They are loud at times. They eat rodents, snakes and such.
