intimate weddings???

pink Hello, i am getting married on september 5th 2005 and im soooo excited! I have read the sites over & over again but all dont seem to have answers to some questions i have, maybe you do? I want to have a private reception just me and my partner but all the places says you cant have wedding attire in the parks, is there anything me and my partner can do so we can have a romantic meal together but in our wedding attire? I would love to do this and watch the fireworks, any ideas?

We are having an intimate wedding in December. We like you wanted to view the fireworks so are having our reception dinner (only 6 of us) at California Grill, that way we get a good view of the fireworks.

From what I understand, you can wear your wedding attire at any resort restaurant. You just can't enter the parks in your dress unless you are having your wedding (or vip party?) there.

Or if you are having the Disney bridal photo shoot done.

lorapinky, as mufasa0505 said you can wear your wedding dress in any of the resort restaurants, unfortunately Disney wont let you into any of the parks in your wedding attire. The only time you are allowed is for the Magic Kingdom Photo Session which is about 5.30am so before anyone else comes into the parks.

What about having a meal at the Grand Floridian Marina or on the beach. I know you can set this up with private dining. Then you can watch the fireworks from there.

My husband and I were married on Oct 30th at Sunset Pointe and after the "reception" we went to the GF for our dinner for two. I set up the "romance dinner" through private dining on the Marina and we had a fantastic dinner and a great view of the fireworks.
It is nice to be able to still wear your wedding attire....all the little girls love it!
For our 1 year anniversary we are planning on setting a "romance dinner" at Sunset Pointe.

What about a fireworks cruise? You can take a standard pontoon boat out on the seven seas lagoon and veiw wishes while your driver serves you dinner, or you can rent the Grand One Yacht.

The Standard Fireworks cruise does not come with the meal, you will have to let them know you want that at the time of booking, and of course you will have to pay more. But that would be romantic! DH and I did the fireworks cruise the nights before or wedding and he loved it!

We are having lunch with our wedding guests and then later on that night we are going to dinner at the California Grill. I want to wear my dress as much as possible since I won't wear it again, so we made sure to have dinner outside of the parks.
