Do they have cake knives available to use for the cake cutting? I don't really want to buy them, my sister did and says they were a waste of money because they are packed away who knows where! I also don't want to have to bring them on the plane!

i dont recall having to bring any...but that was in 1997.

I would hope they would supply it along with forks, plates & glasses

I think you shouldnt have to worry about that, unless you WANT to bring your own for pictures.

Lets see what the others say...that are more recent;)

Everything was supplied for our intimate reception....cake knives, plates, forks, champagne glasses, napkins. There was someone there (other than our planner) that cut the cake and poured the champagne for us. We didn't go through the trouble to buy cake knives, and it turns out we have plenty of other memories from that day...we took some napkins, and we also got the cork from our champagne bottle. Hope this helps :)

if you did decide to purchase them, why not use them regularly, instead of packing them away? My mom put our set in our utensil drawer and said, "you might as well use them, no use putting them away."

As beckyb29 said, they supply everything. I didn't buy knives, champagne flutes, nothing like that. On one of the forms it asks if you'll supply your own or have them supply it and I just had them do it. The only toasting glasses I've kept were the plastic ones DH bought for us to have champagne after his surprise proposal! They're the only non-crystal/glass item in the top of my china cabinet!

We did the same thing. Everything was supplied for us as well.

I fell in LOVE:love: with the cake knife and server of Disney... Trying to find where to get them... But you can store them in a kitchen drawer and use them for dessert... Thats what I am planning on doing...;)

the FTW ones? I ordered through Disney floral...I think there was another thread around here about that... :thumbsup2

Christina, I ordered mine through Disney Floral. They dont have anything on the knobs but are very very dainty and have Disney Fairy Tale Weddings on the server, and the coach on the knife. Ours are in the box right now but I really need to put them up in the kitchen for use!! Paid good money for them to sit in the box;) I think they were 50ish! I just called the disney florist (I think the website is www.disneyflorist.com-- You can also order other disney wedding things from them like the guest book and pen with mickeys, or cinderellas coach, whichever you prefer. They also have other things-- just a thought!

Heres the guest book with cinderellas coach. They sent it to me by accident when I ordered the other. I opened it up to take photos for you all back then, but then ahd to send it back:sad2: .

This is the set that I really want. I know a few other people on this board bought theirs off of Ebay. I want to know how you order these. I imagine they are only offered to Disney Brides.

Holly you can call the disney florist and get them (thats what I did). I know they are in the ballpark of $50-75... I cant exactly remember what I paid for them... but it was along the lines of that. GL:thumbsup2

I got those for free when I made DF get a Disney Visa last spring! That's probably why they're on Ebay. I would have done it myself, but I already had the Disney Visa. We're already up to $800 towards our room nights and I have another 7 weeks to go - I'm hoping we'll be over $900 in rewards!!! GF here we come!!! :)

Just called Disney Floral and the set is $50. You also need to add on a $12 s&h.

Hi everybody. I've seen in some pics on here that there are glasses used by disney that look like there is some sort of decoration on them. (Mickey's or something like that) What glasses are used for the intimate/escape weddings, and are these also purchasable through disney floral like the cake knife and server set? Does anybody know what all is available through disney when it comes to things like that? Thanks so much!:)

When I enter that website, all I get are flower and gift basket options. Is there another link I am missing to see the wedding stuff (ie: servers, books, etc..)?

I don't think it is on their website. I was just going to order the cake knife/server online, but couldn't find it. I had to call them. They asked if I needed any other items (flower baskets, gift books, etc.). You might want to call them and ask for pictures of the items, or at least where to see them.
