Intimate Brides: Flowers & Cake Selections

OK, yeah...I'm nosey today. I'm filling out my Planning Questionnare. Can you tell?

OK ladies, what flowers did you pick? I chose the Garden Bouquet. It's the closest thing to wildflowers I could get. That's so me.

He chose the freesia Garden boutonierre.


For our cake...since half the reason we GO to WDW is for the Grapefruit Cake at the Brown Derby, we asked if we could get a Grapefruit Cake for our wedding cake and they said yes!

I customized my flowers, mini black calla lilies and burgundy tulips.

Cake was chocolate and vanilla buttercream with the white chocolate castle topper.

I customized my flowers as well. We got married @ the Polynesian, so my bouquet was orchids and hibiscus...very tropical! It was so beautiful!

Cake was chocolate with raspberry filling....yum!

I chose the solid french roses, but I chose dark pink.

For our cake it had to be yellow cake and chocolate mousse, since DH2B's favorite food of all time is yellow cake and chocolate icing I thought that would make him happy. We are kind of customizing our cake by having our monogram on our cake.

I had a burgandy and antique pink french bouquet.

Our cake was Marble with white chocolate mousse icing. It was wonderful!!!

I chose the Island bouquet and asked for red & white them. It came out so gorgeous my DH also picked the island boutinnere. It went great with our sunset pointe/ polynesian theme!

Intimate Brides...would DFW allow you to customize either your cake and/or bridal bouquet?

I would love to upgrade my wedding cake to the "Simple Pleasures" Grand Floridan Bakery wedding cake, however, I keep getting the run around.

Also, I would prefer to have a cascading bridal bouquet, but don't see that listed as one of the intimate options.

I got the French bouquet in stirling lavendar and pale yellow roses. Our cake was white with strawberry mousse filling. White cake was not an option on the intimate cake list, but I was told we could do it regardless. It was one of the best cakes I had ever had.
