Interview with Mr. Vandy

After the lively discussion regarding Dick Van Dyke (aka Mr. Vandy) during the podcast a couple weeks ago, I wanted to share info regarding an interview with Mr. Vandy I listened too coming home from WDW yesterday.

Kevin Pollak interviewed him for his podcast a couple of weeks ago. About 25 min. in they talk briefly about Mr. Van Dyke's work on Mary Poppins. Kevin's girlfriend Jamie is a HUGE Disney fan, so at the end of the podcast she asks him if he ever got to spend time in Disneyland with Walt. I won't give any more away, other than to say his response brought both Jamie and I to tears. It is a wonderful interview that lasts about 2 hrs.

The podcast, Kevin Pollak's Chat Show, is on iTunes in both audio and video, You Tube, and at earwolf.com as audio only (I think). I think you can still get current episodes on Hulu, but you have to sit through commercials every so often.

That sounds so cool! I love "Mr Vandy" since Mary Poppins first came out when I was 9 yrs old. Would love to hear the interview. Thanks so much for sharing.

You're welcome! It is a really good interview. He is such a funny man! I of course loved him in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Mary Poppins as a child. Then thanks to Nick at Nite discovered the Dick Van Dyke show. LOVE IT!
