Fall, because I just love the sudden crisp, cool air, the crunchy leaves, the smell of smoke from chimneys, hybernating inside with my candles and my books - and then there's Thanksgiving - who doesn't love a holiday with tons of food and no gifts to buy?

Well, my most recent b-day was a great one! It was a Sunday, so I slept in a little (7:30), and had breakfast w/DH and kids. They used DD's Easy Bake Oven to make me one of my b-day cakes, and we all went to dinner, then they gave me my gifts. Loved it!!!!!

Well, I'm not a parent - however I teach preschool and am frequently called "Mommy" - so I'll answer... I've learned that kids always see and hear way more than we think they do!

Tell us about the best meal you've ever eaten...

That would be a Christmas meal my sister and I made based on an episode of Tyler Florence's show on Food Network. It was a Prime Rib Roast with a horseradish/garlic crust, a parmesan potato gratin and roasted red onions glazed with balsamic vinegar and butter. Best meal ever, hands down ~ that Tyler Florence is a genius!!
