Interview the person below you (Part II)

So far I would say Akershus is my favourite. I love the interaction and the pic with belle. The food was really good also!

Do you Have a disney collection, pins, vinyls, plush etc?

Pins, Plush and Mugs. Smaller Plush collection, my sister and I have about 250 pins between us, and we have countless mugs.

Do you watch TV Shows when they're visiting Disney World/Disneyland (like Modern Family ect)

not usually.............try to avoid TV.

What is your favorite souvenir you have?

My favorite Disney-related souvenirs are my Mickey's Coffee mugs, especially the Donald one. My other favorite souvenir that I bought at Disney isn't really Disney-ish. It's a soapstone carving of a family of four that I bought at the African outpost in Epcot. I absolutely love it and have such fond memories of the gentleman who was carving there that day. On a side note to anyone who just buzzes past the African outpost in Epcot.....I really encourage you to stop and watch whoever is carving that day. They are always very kind and gracious, not to mention incredibly talented!

If you collect pins, what's your absolute favorite one? When/how did you acquire it?

I don't collect pins, but I help my son collect. My favorite of his is a giant Kaa pin from the Jungle Book. I ordered it from disneystore.com for him.

Do you stay on-site always when visiting Disney? If so, do you stay at the same resort or try different places?

Mostly stay on site. June trip is off site at Hilton Grand Vacation Club Sea World. Aug trip is on site at Yacht Club. It is a different wdw resort each time except we usually stay a value (Pop Century but for Aug trip - Art of Animation - Mermaid room the first night). I love the values and could stay there all week but i need a balcony... The rooms can get claustrophobic... My son also loves the pool slides so deluxe for the week it usually is..

What is your must requirement for a resort or stay off site?

Good bus service (prefer no bus sharing), quiet and Deluxe accommodations.

Question: Do you buy Disney-related items online from sellers/stores other than DisneyShopping.com? If so, what did you purchase most recently?

We always get a picture in front of every Christmas tree.

Question: Do you Disney scrapbook? If so, how many have you done so far?

No, we don't.

Describe your perfect meal at WDW, including location, food and anything else you want to add. (Eg: dine at BOG, food from Coral Reef, while watching Fantasmic)

Probably the best meal we've had was at Citrico's. I had the grouper and it could be the best fish I've ever eaten. We had a table by the window and got a peak of some of the fireworks from Wishes, which was great even though the view was bit obstructed by one of the buildings at GF. I like a nice relaxing meal with great food.:thumbsup2

NP- have you ever done the Wishes Dessert Party? If so what did you think? If not, do you ever plan to?

No we haven't done the Wishes Dessert Party. We were thinking about doing it this trip but decided to hold off until next trip.

If you could meet any character from any Disney Movie/TV Show/Cartoon (not someone you can already meet in the parks) who would you meet and why?

I would love to either meet Candice or Dr. Doofensmirtz they are my 2 favorite characters from P&F. My kids and DH would go crazy if they could meet them too.

What type of promotion would you like to see Disney do in 2014?

NP- have you ever done the Wishes Dessert Party? If so what did you think? If not, do you ever plan to?

Sorry, but I just had to answer this one too! I got to do the Wishes dessert party the first year, and it was great. There were plenty of variety of desserts, enough for all, and the fireworks viewing was prime. This was, alas, before things at Disney go - now that experience is popular, the price has jumped considerably, it is more crowded, and people still elbow for viewing room. I'm glad I did it when I did!

As for special promotions, I loved Year of a Million Dreams! I wish they'd do something like that again. Even just the possibility of being given a dream was magical!

Where do you go for some peace and quiet in a park?

If Im in Epcot I go to world showcase and watch the France movie, gives me a nice nap every time.

Favorite resort and why?

Animal Kingdom Villas. It is like a vacation within a vacation staying there. It is very relaxing and very much like being away from Disney. Love this place.

Same Question: Favorite resort and why?

Yacht or Beach Club. I love the feel of the resorts and their proximity to Boardwalk and EPCOT.

You have half an hour left at MK, you can only do one ride and meet one character. What and who do you choose and why?
