Interview the person below you (Part II)

I would say the fact that they are planning multi year expansions like New Fantasyland and Disney Springs is the exciting part because you can tell it will be worth the wait. Just like Cars Land at Disneyland!

What is your typical day at Disney World?

We dont have a typical day, really. We try to make each day unique and each trip a little different. Overall, we eat at our favorite places, ride rides, see shows, do some pin trading, take lots of pictures and enjoy the company of one another.

Which Pavilion is your most favorite?

I guess you're talking about World Showcase... Might sound weird but I don't really like the Pavilions. Just not my thing. But I would have to choose France : great restaurants and cast members speak my first language!

If there was a new park (5th gate), what would you like it to be?

When is your next trip? How long? Where will you stay? And what ADRS will you make?

Our next trip is the week after Thanksgiving, arriving the Saturday after and leaving the following Saturday, staying at AoA Cars. We're taking my DBro, DSIL, and DNephew2.....only my brother has been before (and he's only been once), so I'm super excited!! So far, the ADRs we'll shoot for are CM's for arrival day dinner (to introduce Mason right away to Mickey and the monorail....he loves trains!), CP breakfast, TH breakfast, 'Ohana breakfast, Teppan Edo dinner, Via Napoli dinner (with our CP package). Might add Sci-Fi lunch too....hard for us to skip.

Have you been on a Disney Cruise? If so, what's your favorite thing about it?

When is your next trip? How long? Where will you stay? And what ADRS will you make?

Our next trip is in October & November of 2013. We will stay at the Beach or Yacht Club. We will be at the world for 33 days, including a 4 night cruise. We will be doing Tusker House, CRT, Chef Mickey, Le Cellier, Yachtsmans Steakhouse, 1900 Park Fare, O'Hana, Crystal Palace, Boma, Coral Reef, Be Our Guest, Tutto Italia, Kona, Teppen Edo, Akershus.

Same Questions :)

It seems we may have gotten hung up with two of us answering the same question. Let's revert back to Meriweather's last question.....

WDW. It's my "park". I've been to DL and I loved it, but I find it too small. I know it's the original, but WDW was the park I went to first.

If you could see an ORIGINAL ride at WDW, what would it be and why?

As a whole, I would like to go back to opening and and experience it all. I wasn't alive when it opened, but if I could go back at my current age to Oct 1971, that would be awesome.

Do you have any rooms in your house that are Disney-themed?

guest bathroom has Mickey part theme, my office has a lot of things and there are Disney things all over the house.

I will answer the cruise question too. Just got back from a Western Caribbean one on Thursday.........with a few days at WDW after it
Love  Disney cruise line. The ships are beautiful, the shows are top notch, the food is excellent, the cabins are spacious and cute and there is always plenty to do.

If you were to do an Adventure By Disney, which one would you choose?

The Brave one in Scotland. Seems like fun!

If you could create and build an ORIGINAL ride at WDW, what would it be and why?

I know this has been discussed before but I would go ahead and create the Monster's Inc flying doors ride in DHS. Ever since I first saw the movie (when it first came out), I was sure Disney was going to make some sort of ride based on that one scene. It is time that they actually do it :thumbsup2

What is your least favorite ride in each of the parks?

MK - Stitch (big surprise, I know)
AK - Dinosaur (only because it's so rough)
EP - Mission:Space Orange (love Green though)
DHS - RnRC (only because it gives me a headache; I really love it!)

What's the one thing that you just couldn't stand NOT to do on every trip?

People mover!!

What thing your family loves to do that you would just as soon NOT do?

(if they do a Monster, Inc door ride, I hope it is better than the one in DCA.....that one is boring, but you are just riding a car through the story)

That's a tough one because I'm generally just happy as a clam at WDW, no matter what we're doing, but I guess if there's one thing I could do without, it's Dinoland at AK. My DSs love Primeval Whirl so we always make a stop there, but the atmosphere stinks and I have to make up excuses to avoid the grossly overpriced carnival-type games.

What's your favorite animal/thing to see on Safari?

I would give just about anything to be one of the creepy bellhops at ToT. I would soooooooo get into that part!!

You can only go to two parks.....which ones do you choose?
