Interview the person below you (Part II)

May 5-11, 2013, haven't booked yet but deciding between Pop and AoA, and we aren't planning to do any ADR's because our park time is limited and we will be enjoying cruise ship food for the week after, so we'll get good eats then :)

What is your favorite Disney movie?

love the mushroom filet at Le Cellier

What is the worse meal you have had at a Disney park (or resort or DtD)?

'Ohana dinner, by a landslide. I can't even recall another meal at WDW that I would even consider as a "worst" meal.

What's your favorite pool area at WDW resorts?

Of the resorts where we've stayed so far, I'd say AKV was our overall favorite. We loved the atmosphere, the lobby was gorgeous, and we all loved the savannah view room. Oh, and the easy access to zebra domes is a big plus! I have to give an honorable mention to POR though since I spent so many happy early early morning minutes, drinking coffee by the river, enjoying the peacefulness.

Do you use ME and, if so, what's your impression of it?

We use ME all the time. We love it....in fact, the first site of the ME buses at MCO lets me know we are finally on our way to Disney :goodvibes

Which Disney resorts have you stayed in so far?

/
POR (even back when it was DxL......was our favorite before DVC), POP, ASMo, POFQ, SSR, OKW, VWL,.....and VGC

What would you like to see added to DtD.....maybe something for adults?? (I sure miss AC!!)

Hmmmm....tough one. I never visited AC and we enjoy a brief stop at DTD on every other trip. I guess I wouldn't add anything....if they did, we'd have to add another day to our stay!

If you could only enjoy one nighttime show on your next trip to WDW, which would you choose?

Illuminations....always a favorite..............but if you are talking DLR, then for sure WoC

If you had a non park day, how would you fill it?

We always have one non-park day in the middle of our stay, usually filled with swimming and dinner at the resort. This time though, my DH and I are both doing the exotic car driving experience in the morning (sooooo excited) then we'll hit the pool in the afternoon. It's DH's birthday that day, so he picked dinner at Captain's Grille for that evening. Should be a great non-park day!!

Are you a mid-day break-er or stay all day-er? How many hours a day do you figure you spend at a park?

I'm a stay all day-er! we get to the parks for opening and, depending on what we are doing in the evening, leave from about 4 to 6.

Do you park hop or not?

The last two trips we paid for park hoppers but never used them. This time we're going without and will add them if needed.

Do you visit the waterparks and, if so, which is your favorite?

Martin

No waterparks for us so far. Even though I know the theming is fantastic, I figure I can do a waterpark here at home. Definitely no MK or EPCOT in Minnesota! We might give it a try when the kids are a bit older (almost 7 and 5 now). When we do, I think we'll do TL.

Do you visit DTD and if so, what's your favorite stop?

yes....always. World of Disney is a favorite, the kitchen store, the Christmas shop, Lego store, Goofy's candy kitchen. We pretty much browse through most of them

What is your favorite and least favorite DtD dining places?

Favorite is Earl of Sandwich, least favorite is Captain Jack's (we are trying Paradiso 37 and Fulton's Crabhouse on our upcoming trip :goodvibes).

What is the one thing you are looking forward to when the New Fantasyland is completed?

not a fan of the values. I guess back in the day ASMo was one we did stay at.
Mod is POR
DxL is WL

Have you ever passed on some pixie dust to someone?

Value - AoA (haven't stayed at a value before but plan to try the Cars room Dec 2013)
Mod - POR
Deluxe - AKV (we'll see if staying at BLT next month changes that!)

Is there anything you haven't done/tried at WDW before that you plan to on your next visit?
