Interview the person below you (Part II)

Crystal Palace for breakfast and Flame Tree BBQ for lunch, as much for the settings as for the food. They just make me happy!

Is there a length of time that you think is too short to go to WDW? For example, if you had two days to go, would it be worth it for you?

Coming from AZ, I need at least a week. Anything less, wouldn't be worth the cost of the plane fare or the time it takes

What is the longest you've stayed on a Disney vacation? What is your ideal length?

Our longest trip has been 9 days and that's about perfect. Our last couple of trips were 8 days and I left feeling like I'd rushed some things.

If you could create a new character meal, what would it be and where?

I think it would be great if we could have a Character Meal with some of the more difficult to find Characters. Kind of like the Fairies in Pixie Hollow you don't know who is going to be there until you walk into the room. This could just be a random you never know who is going to be there until you walk in the room. Maybe it's all villains one meal, or maybe it's Peter Pan and Neverland characters, or the fairies from Sleeping Beauty. Probably would need to be in Magic Kingdom somewhere.

Where is your favorite place to sit and just soak in the Magic of Disney?

anywhere and every where.....we are older, don't take kids with us and usually go for 2 weeks, so we can go at the pace we want and sit and just watch as much as we want.

What restaurant that you haven't tried before would you really like to (if you say BOG, because it is so new, please add another too)?

BOG of course, and we'll try that likely for lunch on our next trip. Of the others, I'd say one of the TS restaurants in Italy, Via Napoli or Tutto Italia. DH isn't too big on Italian food, so I haven't forced the issue there.

What is/would be your answer to a friend who says "you're going to Disney AGAIN?!"?

they don't say that..............they want to know if they can go too ;)

What Disney collection do you have and how are they displayed?

/
We have quite a few....my DD9 collects the Disney inspired Prescious Moments and my DD11 collects Disney Snow Globes each of which are displayed in different curio cabinets that we have. I, on the other hand, collect the Thomas Kinkade's Disney collection paintings. Those are hung proudly on my walls in my family room so everyone can see them.

When is your favorite time of year to go to WDW and why?

I could go to Disney any month of the year, but to choose a favorite it would be during the Christmas Season once the decorations go up. i enjoy Disney during the holiday season.

have you taken any of the tours offered at WDW, if so; what is your favorite.

I haven't done any of the tours, but I think I want to try Keys to the Kingdom sometime soon. I'd love to see the real first level of MK!

I was just reading the thread about attractions that are a waste of space, so I have to ask......which (if any) attraction do you feel is a waste of space and should be replaced? Why?

I guess in my opinion, none of the attractions are a waste of space. Everyone likes different things, so what appeals to you may not appeal to me, and vice versa, but that doesn't mean they shouldn't be there. I didn't really love the Primeval Whirl ride in AK, but that doesn't mean that tons of other people don't...

I am going to ask a question that was asked a few questions up...

What do you say when someone says "You're going to Disney... again?"

The person who answered said that never happens to them (lucky! :) ) but I was wondering what someone does when it does happen to them... cause it does to me, a lot! :goodvibes

I'm the one that asked that question previously! I get that question fairly often and I generally just laugh it off and tell them that Disney is my happy place. Can't imagine a better place to spend my vacation! (One friend who has always asked me the AGAIN? question has finally decided she might need to go see what it's all about. I'm planning their vacation now!)

What's your favorite sound at WDW? (a certain sound, a song, a feature in an attraction, etc)

Ahhhh, I love planning for friends and family! :) My favorite sound - the clomping of the toy soliders in the Christmas parade. LOVE that! Your question leads me to...

What is your favorite smell at WDW?

The popcorn at the entrance to MK! That is my welcoming smell
If you could live at any of the parks which one and why?

I'd live at DHS......and I'd sleep right on one of those dusty couches at the Hollywood Tower Hotel! I just love the feel of that park for some reason I can't quite nail down. Can I vacation at AK? ;)

You're going to WDW and you have to pack your own food for the entire trip except you can eat ONE ITEM of Disney food.....what would you choose?

Definitely a meat, let's see. The skewers of meat at Ohana's.

You're planning a family reunion. 100+ guest. You must stay onsite and everyone at one Disney resort. Money is not an issue, everyone pays for their own room. What hotel will the 100+ guest stay at and why?

Hmmm, even though AKV is our favorite, I think I'd put everyone at Boardwalk. It's a nice resort, good sized pool area (without being so spread out as Stormalong Bay at BC), and it's a short walk to Epcot and all its restaurant options.....which we're going to need with all these people!

When was your very first visit to WDW and what was it like for you?

1990..............took 3 kids (2 of them mine). Stayed offsite and the rest of it was fine, but the trips got better and better

What is your favorite store to shop in?

ELP

What is your favorite land at MK and what is your favorite thing about that land?
