Interview the person below you (Part II)

We like AKV best, though I'm thinking my boys' reaction to AoA Cars on this upcoming trip may sway my favorite. AKV's theming, atmosphere, animals, service, everything impressed us.

What's your favorite area or attraction music at WDW?

money is no object, we are DVC owners. I like Wilderness Lodge. Love the architecture, beach, boat to MK, geyser, all of it

What would be your perfect vacation..........length, place, park tickets?

What would be your perfect vacation..........length, place, park tickets?

10 days, Animal Kingdom villa (1 bedroom), PH with water park options.

Most of my visits are short these days (3-5 days), at value or mod, with AP so never do water parks. 10 days would let me be comfortable with some non-park days and I would love to stay at one of the DVC resorts again and have the hot tub. Son worked at Mara at AKL during CP and we never stayed there :(

Which of the 4 parks would you pick to have a private evening with family and friends?

Magic Kingdom without a 2nd thought. :)

If you could add Marvel to Disney or leave them at Universal, what would you choose?

Universal did a great job with Marvel, so keep it there. I want a Marvel area at Disneyland too.

Would you rather live on Main Street or a deluxe resort of your choice?

We usually know 18 months beforehand roughly when we will be going back to WDW. We start talking about plans 12 months before and start properly planning about 7-8 months before to make our reservations 180 days out :) We don't plan everything. We plan what table restaurants we want to make reservations at. Our first few 3 days we always do MK, AK and EPCOT and our last 3 days we do AK, EPCOT and MK. Everything else, we just see what happens :)

Same Q

Plan over a year in advance, book resort at 11 months (or if using one we don't own add, plan it and book at 7 months).
I have 2014's trips in my head, just waiting for the booking times to come

Which is your favorite area of MK and why?

Does the PeopleMover count as an area? If so, it's that! If not, I'd say Main Street, just outside Casey's, or Adventureland. All of those places just have something special for me.....that Disney something that you can't quite describe, you know?

What is your absolute favorite memory of all your trips to WDW?

My favorite memory was last trip in January riding Toy Story Mania. It was a great first day. Our flight landed eariler so Fastpasses were out and we were ready to brave the hour line when he were getting very hungry. (We were park hopping to Epoct to eat) Someone gave us fastpasses :) We were excited and it was such a fun attraction.

Is there a snack you get every Walt Disney World trip?

We always get popcorn at MK, either from the cart right under the train station or the one in Frontierland. They're the best! And I discovered the turtles at Karamel Kuche a couple of trips ago.....best use of a snack credit ever!!!

What's your favorite ride queue?

I always purchase Christmas ornaments. My entire downstairs is decorated in Disney for Christmas. :)

Do you do pin trading or Vinylmation trading? If so, do you go for sets or just the ones you like?

We do pin trading. We have favourite characters that we collect and often when we arrive we will find one or two sets that we want to start collecting.

Same Q

pin trading..............with cast members and on the exchange board here on the DIS.
I buy what I like. There are certain characters I like best and special events and anything unusual

Do you collect character autographs?

I don't, but my kids do. We put the autograph with the photos in our photo album for that trip.

Have you met some of the "extras" at the parks, like Push or DeVine? Thoughts?

Yes, both of those and the palm tree at AK too......very fun

Do you take a lot of photos, get Photopass, both? Do you put pictures in albums, scrapbook or just leave them stored online somewhere?
