Interval inventory of DVC resorts

I have a question, does anyone know when Disney lists the rooms from OKW or SSR for example, Where does that inventory come from? Are they a set amount of rooms disney owns or are they all exchanges? I am hoping for some clafication of this process, so i can better understand. THANKS!!

The listing don't follow any set schedule. The inventory is derived from DVC members depositing their points into II. None of the points that Disney owns are traded into II. They sell rooms "booked" with those points through the regular Disneyworld.com website. There will be times when there is more inventory available through II than other times. It is entirely dependent on how many DVC member points gets deposited.

Cash rooms are not made available when members exchange through II. Most cash rooms are a result of members using points for a Disney Cruise, Non-DVC Disney Resort, Adventures by Disney, or the Concierge Collection.

I didn't say that cash rooms are from II exchanges. I said that Disney (DVD/DVC) can book with their points and sell the rooms to the WDTC for cash. Sorry if I didn't explain that clearly.
