Interval between Southwest release dates

The schedule opens up on May 6 for flights up to Dec. 19.

What has been the historical pattern on when the next release comes? In other words, what do I need to put in my calendar for the Christmas period?

We are looking for Christmas too. I would think mid to end of June/ first of July.

December has opened for booking no later than the end of June since 2007 and in the last two years has opened in late May or early June.

Hoping to be able to score a decent fare on the first day they are released -- DH wants to drive, but I'm not so sure. A good SWA flight would seal the deal.
