Internet Speed needed for xBox?

So on a budget note, like many others, we are thinking of switching from Comcast to Direct TV to take advantage of the new customer pricing. (I know we only get it for one year, and then the second year will be higher, but we would still come out ahead)

We currently have an internet that is supposed to be up to 14 megs is it? The new one would be only 7 - might be able to pay for a higher speed. But does anyone know off hand the speed required to run games on an xBox that is connected via Wi-fi to our internet? I don't want to switch and hear the boys complaining that their games don't work. They play football basketball mostly and sometimes Modern Warfare.

Thanks!

I don't know your answer, but my son loves to play Xbox online and he complained *often* that our Clear 4G service would drop for a second -- but long enough to kick him out of his games. It didn't happen all that frequent, but I guess enough that he felt the need to complain every time! I was so happy when we got Comcast and we will probably keep it even after our great intro pricing ends. We also use netflix so I like the faster speed/consistency for streaming as well.

I didn't notice the drops when doing general internet surfing because it would pick right back up, but it was causing problems with his games.

*Shrug* I have DSL through Century Link and have no issues with being dropped her. It is plenty fast for online play through the 360 and for Netflix.
