Internet phone....any problems

In the car? That's what I've done in the past when traveling and I forget my charger.

That's what I was going to say. Most likely in the car. Or wherever I was staying because with two little ones, I don't think staying in a place with no power over several days would be feasible. My cell phone battery lasts a while when it's not being used though. And with the exception of an ice storm about 7 years ago where we lost power for 21 days, we don't lose power for more than a few hours here.

My cable/phone/internet provider is comcast. Since I have all three services I get a $40.00 a month discount off my cable bill so it's like I get all the available premium channels for free. As far as the power my cable company installed a box that holds a charge so if the power goes out temporaly it's not a problem. Most people have cell phones anyways. (I do not) My kids unplugged my box once and the cable company showed up at my door their system recoganized I had a problem before I was even aware of it. The box only needed plugged back in and the kids boom box had to go to a new plug.
